Chapter 441 · Volume 1

Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop

There is an immortal ship on the sea, and upon it are three hundred billion mortals.
This is the most mysterious and unpredictable existence in the ocean, the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop.
Ghost had previously gathered information about it on the network, and there were rumors that the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop was the top den of indulgence in the Deep Red Continent.
But the pickpocket Yue Shi had encountered on the maritime entertainment ship said there were three hundred billion mortals on it.
At the time, Yue Shi had merely treated it as an exaggerated rumor. Like all legends of the sea, the more they were passed around, the more outrageous and unbelievable they became.
Until this very moment.
Yue Shi had the executive lead him to find the true core members of the Deep Blue Route, and after many twists and turns, the executive finally brought him to the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop.
He stood before a vast expanse of sea mist, looking up at what lay ahead.
The mist was thick, like a white wall.
Yue Shi saw the mist slowly rotating, countless layers overlapping, yet within it was a hazy, ethereal light refracting from countless directions simultaneously.
There was something incredibly massive within the mist.
So large that his field of vision could not contain it.
Yue Shi narrowed his eyes slightly, and his gaze began to extend.
He saw it—wooden structures within the mist that rose and fell like mountain ranges, forming the silhouette of a bizarre building.
Giant timbers were joined together to form the ship, each one as thick as a skyscraper.
The hull extended upward, piercing through the mist to an unknown height. It sank downward into the sea's surface, vanishing into the abyss to an unknown depth.
This was merely a single corner of the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop.
Yue Shi continued to observe carefully.
Pavilions of various styles were stacked layer upon layer, their upturned eaves and corners appearing and disappearing in the mist.
Arch bridges connected some of the pavilions, and suspended corridors interlaced. There were also massive platforms of unknown purpose, where figures could be seen moving faintly.
Looking up, the top was nowhere in sight.
Looking to either side, there was nothing but endless wooden architecture.
Lights could be seen in some places, while others were shrouded in darkness.
Occasionally, strange sounds drifted from afar, carried by the wind, elusive and uncertain.
Such a magnificent tower ship was more like a moving continent, a bizarre kingdom floating upon the sea.
Yue Shi withdrew his gaze and remained silent for a few seconds.
He suddenly felt that those rumors might not have been exaggerations.
Three hundred billion mortals... it was indeed possible.
Beside him, the executive stole a glance at Yue Shi.
That face, usually so full of wicked aura, actually revealed a hint of shock at this moment.
Though it was extremely faint, it was definitely shock.
A sense of inexplicable gratification welled up in the executive's heart.
What a clueless country bumpkin~
He mocked Yue Shi mercilessly in his mind, but he dared not show the slightest sign on his face. He cleared his throat and spoke in a tone so humble it bordered on sycophantic:
“Excellency, the core members of the Deep Blue Route have always lived on the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop.”
Yue Shi gave him a dark look.
The executive lowered his head, not daring to meet those eyes, but there was a subtle hint of confidence in his voice.
“Not only are there countless entertainment options here, but most importantly, it's safe enough.”
“Safe?” Yue Shi asked suspiciously.
“Yes. No one would dare cause trouble on the Workshop. Guests staying here receive the strongest security guarantees.”
The corners of the executive's mouth curled up, but he quickly suppressed it, making sure to emphasize the words ‘strongest’ particularly clearly.
Yue Shi stared at him.
The executive's expression remained humble, but the sense of relaxation radiating from him told Yue Shi that after arriving at the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop, he had regained his confidence.
It seemed that as long as he entered the Workshop, he was no longer a prisoner at the mercy of others.
Yue Shi had come to find the core members of the Deep Blue Route, and he clearly wasn't here for tea. If he wanted to cause trouble on this Workshop...
A malicious glint flickered in the depths of the executive's eyes.
Slap!
Yue Shi delivered a sharp slap.
The executive's head was whipped to the side, and five red finger marks appeared on his face.
He was completely stunned, clutching his face with wide eyes and trembling lips, unable to say a single word.
Yue Shi withdrew his hand with a look of disgust.
I absolutely refuse to let anyone make that ‘petty man in his element’ face look more punchable than I do!
“Stop talking nonsense and get in there to find them.”
The executive's lips moved, and he endured the pain while clutching his face, responding with a submissive murmur.
Although he had been beaten multiple times along the way, his mind was still constantly calculating.
The Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop was not a place just anyone could enter.
Mere wealth and power meant nothing here; it was filled with deeply entrenched factions, and there was no shortage of existences more terrifying than evil gods.
The Deep Blue Route had operated here for untold years; they had special channels, permissions, and connections.
As for this long-haired man, it looked like his first time here.
That would make things much easier.
“This way, please.”
The executive lowered his head and led Yue Shi into the mist.
He didn't take the main entrance; indeed, this Workshop didn't seem to have a so-called main entrance.
They crossed a suspended walkway hanging in the mist, with no railings on either side and the bottomless sea beneath their feet.
The mist gathered on both sides of the walkway, forming a sort of barrier that blocked both the wind and their vision.
After walking for a while, the walkway branched.
The executive chose the path on the left, walked for another stretch, then branched again, and chose again.
Twisting and turning, it was like entering a labyrinth.
The executive explained in a low voice, “This isn't an ordinary passage.”
“There are many people on the Bewitching Beauty Painting Workshop, and the area is too vast. Every long-term resident has their own exclusive passage. Without a guide, an outsider would never find the place they're looking for.”
Yue Shi listened quietly, his gaze fixed on the mist.
Only upon close contact did he realize that both space and time within the mist were distorted.
The mist was so thick that even he couldn't fully untangle it.
After walking for a while, the mist on both sides of the walkway began to change, gradually revealing various colors and light patterns.
Yue Shi glanced at the mist beside him and saw a blurry scene that looked like a bustling marketplace crowded with people.
He turned to the other side and saw a different image—a magnificent hall where people were feasting.
After a few more steps, those images became even more chaotic. They were like fragmented film strips, pasted one by one into the mist, flashing past rapidly.
Finally, the walkway reached its end.
Ahead was a vortex at least a dozen meters in diameter.
The center of the vortex was pure darkness, while the edges were a halo of various colors woven together.
“Please.” The executive made a gesture of invitation and was the first to step into the vortex.
Yue Shi followed.
The moment he passed through the vortex, he felt a strange sensation of weightlessness.
Space was flipping.
After a moment of pitch darkness, he saw blue sky and white clouds.
The spring day was bright, yet there was no sun. Light spilled down evenly from all directions, warm and soft.
Beneath his feet was soft grass and unknown small flowers.
In the distance were lush, green mountains. At the foot of the mountains was a lake, its water crystal clear, reflecting the sky and the peaks.
The surroundings were quiet, with only the sound of the wind.
Yue Shi felt as if he had accidentally stumbled into a hidden paradise.
His gaze swept over the area. After passing through that vortex just now, he could no longer sense the presence of the ocean at all.
However, he saw the boundaries of the sky and the end of the earth.
“Is this... an independent world?”
