1. Using Novels Haven

Welcome to Novels Haven("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using novelshaven.com and related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to use the Service. If you access mature or explicit content, you must also meet the age requirements that apply where you live. By using the Service, you represent that you are allowed to do so under applicable law.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity that happens under your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. User Content and Site Rules

You are responsible for content you submit to the Service, including comments, reviews, profile information, images, and other material. You must have the rights needed to post that content.

By posting content, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You may not post or use the Service for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, exploitative, malicious, or spammy activity. You also may not try to bypass paid access controls, scrape the Service without permission, use bots in a harmful way, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service. If the Service allows mature or explicit fiction, that does not permit illegal or exploitative content.

5. Paid Access, Chapter Keys, Tickets, and Subscriptions

Some advanced chapters can be accessed through paid Chapter Keys, free Tickets, or a recurring subscription. Chapter Keys and Tickets are digital access items only. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be used inside the Service.

Chapter Keys and Tickets. Chapter Keys are purchased in one-time transactions. Tickets may be granted through tasks, promotions, or other features. When Keys or Tickets are spent to unlock a chapter, that use is final and will not be reversed just because you later delete your account, cancel a subscription, or the chapter later becomes free.

Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel through the billing portal available from your account or by contacting us at contact@novelshaven.com. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your paid access generally continues until the end of the current billing period.

Subscription renewals and cancellation responsibility. If you do not want your subscription to renew, you must cancel before your next billing date. We do not issue refunds for renewal charges because you forgot to cancel before the renewal date, except where required by law or where we confirm a billing or technical error caused by us.

Access scope. Subscription tiers provide access up to the tier limit shown at checkout. That limit is a cap, not a promise that a certain number of advanced chapters will be available in a given month. Advanced chapters on the Service are eventually released for free.

Refunds. This section states our Refund Policy for paid digital access products and subscription charges on the Service. Chapter Keys and free Tickets are digital access items only. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and can only be used inside the Service. When they are spent to unlock a chapter, that use is final.

Except where required by law or where we confirm a billing or technical error caused by us, purchases and subscription charges are non-refundable. We do not give refunds for change of mind, forgetting to cancel before renewal, unused time, or dissatisfaction with content.

We may correct, restore, or refund a charge if we verify that you were charged incorrectly or that our systems failed to deliver the paid access you purchased. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact contact@novelshaven.com with your account email and transaction details.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and we do not store full payment card details.

We may change pricing, plans, promotional offers, or paid features from time to time. If applicable law requires notice before a change takes effect, we will provide that notice.

6. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at contact@novelshaven.com with the information required by applicable law, including enough detail for us to identify the work and the allegedly infringing material. We may remove content and take action against repeat infringers. For more detail, see our DMCA Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for things like authentication, data storage, hosting, analytics, advertising, and payment processing. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party products or services we do not control.

8. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, change, pause, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, engaged in fraud or abuse, failed to pay amounts you owe, or if we need to do so for legal or security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time and may contact us to request account deletion. Some data may be retained where required for legal, security, billing, or recordkeeping purposes. Unused Keys or Tickets may be forfeited when an account is terminated, except where required by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Novels Haven and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent consumer protection law in your home jurisdiction requires otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice when required. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
