“Roar—!!!”
Before the warily circling mutated murlocs could even react, a massive cone of deep green toxic breath swept over them, accompanied by a resounding dragon roar.
Within the large area covered by the toxic gas, the ugly murlocs began to twitch violently upon contact with the highly toxic, corrosive mist. Their skin, subcutaneous fat, and muscles rapidly rotted and dissolved.
It was as if they had been thrown into a pool of highly concentrated sulfuric acid!
The other murlocs, who were fortunate enough to escape the initial blast of toxic mist, finally reacted and looked back.
At this point, only twenty to thirty mutated murlocs were still capable of movement.
Seeing this, Lucia did not press her advantage. Instead, she stopped her toxic breath and slowly raised her neck, looking down from on high at these mutated creatures, who were incredibly weak to her.
She wanted to see fear and panic in the eyes of these tiny, lowly creatures.
She would envelop them in that sheer panic.
And then, she would slaughter them one by one.
This was Lucia's usual style of killing.
But the reality disappointed her deeply.
Even though their companions' bodies were being corroded and they were letting out horrific shrieks, the surviving mutated murlocs showed absolutely no reaction.
They just stared blankly at Lucia, gazing at this suddenly intruding outsider.
In contrast, some of the drow imprisoned in the cages actually showed different expressions on their faces.
Some drow smiled with hope, as if they had just seen their savior.
Others cowered in even greater fear, terrified of drawing the attention of this suddenly appeared evil dragon.
However, the majority of the drow remained numbly in their original positions, curling up with blank expressions. Even after witnessing the green dragon wipe out the mutated murlocs, they showed no reaction at all, as if they had lost their souls.
Seeing this, Lucia suddenly felt a wave of boredom.
The next moment, losing all interest in playing, the green dragon slowly opened her jaws once more, preparing to unleash another toxic breath to completely eliminate the remaining mutated murlocs.
Yet, the group of mutated murlocs she had targeted directly ahead seemed completely oblivious to the danger.
They looked at each other for a moment, and under Lucia's puzzled gaze, they suddenly began to whisper and communicate in strange tones:
“It's a big lizard... The big lizard Master wants...”
“No... It's a dragon... The dragon Master wants...”
“But Master wants a black one... This one is green... This isn't the one Master wants...”
“Green... black... they're both dragons... Master wants a dragon...”
“We need to catch her... catch her...”
...
...
Before the mutated murlocs could even finish their conversation, a cone of toxic breath enveloped them. As Lucia swept her head, the range of the breath expanded accordingly.
Just like that, amidst the murmurs of the mutated murlocs, they were corroded beyond recognition. As their bodies rapidly dissolved, they gradually lost their very last breath of life...
