Chapter 135 · Volume 1

Brother, Let's Negotiate—Give Me a Break

Bell stood where he was.
The collar of his newly donned clothes was still open.
He looked at Cecilia’s face forty meters away, which was twisted with fear.
He waved his hand.
The movement was small.
Very casual.
“When I deduced that some force had distorted Dracula’s perception,” Bell began.
“I judged that this was no longer something I could handle. At that time, I had Headmaster Margaret return to the kingdom.”
Cecilia’s gaze fixed on Bell’s face.
Her red irises stopped trembling.
Bell continued.
“Leovet cannot leave the capital without authorization. That is kingdom law.”
“But what if the human side and the vampire side sign a joint commission agreement simultaneously?”
His gaze swept toward Margaret.
“I had Headmaster Margaret get Alice’s authorization for me.”
His gaze turned to Lilian in the corner of the secret chamber.
“Lilian commissioned me to exercise the authority of the Vampire King.”
His voice dropped half a tone for the final sentence.
“In previous scripts, there has never been a human who could act as a proxy for the Vampire King’s authority.”
The weight of the information crashed into Cecilia’s mind.
Memories from hundreds of loops surged at high speed.
It wasn't that Bell was stronger than her.
It wasn't that some new power had appeared.
It was that she had never even considered the option that “Bell would follow the procedure.”
In all her experiences across the loops...
Bell was either killed.
Or protected.
Or used.
There was never once...
Where Bell would use political means, diplomatic processes, and legal authority to mobilize an existence she feared.
This line of thinking was beyond her deduction model.
Leovet took a new piece of bread from his robe pocket.
He held it in his mouth.
“Finished chatting?”
The words were muffled.
He pulled his hands out of his pockets.
He cracked the joints of his ten fingers one by one.
Crack.
Crack.
Crack.
Each sound hammered against Cecilia’s nerves.
He took a step forward.
Cyan wind elements spread silently from beneath his feet.
They covered the ground within a fifty-meter radius.
Cecilia took two steps back, her body still naked.
The rubble beneath her feet dug into her flesh.
A green light flickered.
The wounds closed.
Her lips were trembling.
Leovet Victor.
The kingdom’s strongest mage.
She had consciously avoided this title throughout hundreds of loops.
She couldn't win.
A pure human without the World Tree, without a system, and without the blessing of the loops.
Solely through talent and cultivation.
He had reached a position where he could stand against the Star Dragon King.
What she feared was never his power.
It was the fact that he proved “one can reach the peak without cheating.”
Teleport.
I have to teleport away.
Her left hand drew the guiding runes for a spatial rift at her side.
Mana was injected.
The runes lit up for half a second.
Then they went out.
The folds of space were locked tight by an extremely fine grid of wind elements.
Every energy node that could produce a spatial displacement was precisely blocked.
“Dimensional blockade.”
Leovet chewed his bread.
“Before you go out to fight, check if the exit has been sealed first. That’s common sense, kid.”
Her retreat was cut off.
Fear fermented in her chest.
Survival instinct took over all reason.
On the surface of her naked body, the light of five elements erupted simultaneously.
It was no longer a faint glow beneath the skin.
It was a blinding, physical pillar of light.
It sprayed out from her pores.
She thrust her left hand above her head.
Bloodshot veins climbed onto the white sclera of her eyes.
“Element Realm—!!”
The world-class skill expanded.
The coverage radius centered on her.
It expanded outward at a speed of four hundred meters per second.
The secret chamber.
The corridor.
The Night Rose Palace.
Moon Phase City.
The entire city was brought within the domain’s range within three seconds.
Within the domain, all elemental affinity relationships were forcibly tampered with.
Fire became Water.
Water became Lightning.
Lightning became Earth.
Earth became Wind.
Wind became Fire.
In the next second, they changed again.
And again in the second after that.
Absolute chaos.
Above Moon Phase City.
The golem legion commanded by Horn was unaffected.
Their driving cores were monster souls and did not rely on external elements.
But on the ground, the academy’s upperclassmen fell into complete confusion.
A water mage released a water shield.
But what came out were wood mana vines.
The vines lashed across a teammate’s face.
A wind-element archer fired a wind blade.
But what flew out was a spatial severing.
It sliced away the cover in front of him along with its foundation.
The fireballs of fire-element students turned into ice spikes.
They stabbed into the ground beneath their own feet.
A white light flashed across Antinoia’s glasses.
Her left hand pressed the pendant on her chest.
“All units, stop casting! Cooperate with the golems using physical means!”
The command pierced through the chaotic battlefield.
Inside the secret chamber.
Leovet stood at the eye of the Element Realm’s storm.
Within fifty centimeters of his body.
There wasn't even a ripple in the air.
The Element Realm’s frantic tampering effect slammed into an invisible wall at his body’s surface.
It peeled away.
It dissipated.
Cecilia lowered her head and charged.
Her naked body, empowered by the elemental storm, turned into a streak of multicolored light.
Her speed broke the sonic barrier.
Two punches.
Three punches.
Seven punches.
Twelve punches.
Every punch was wrapped in lethal mana of different attributes.
Leovet’s body made the smallest shifts as each punch arrived.
Half a centimeter.
One centimeter.
Three millimeters.
The wind from the punches brushed past his clothes, hair, and ears.
They struck the stone wall behind him.
Exploding into a series of craters.
Not a single one hit.
Cecilia changed her tactics.
She no longer used her fists.
Five-element annihilation.
Three-attribute fusion barrages.
Dual polarity contradiction curses of Holy Light and Shadow.
All the killing moves accumulated over hundreds of loops were poured out within thirty seconds.
The space of the secret chamber repeatedly tore and healed around them.
The sickly green light of the inheritance was shattered seven times.
And reformed seven times.
A section of the hem of Leovet’s robe was burned away.
A strip of his left sleeve was also sliced off.
The two of them turned into two streaks of light.
At speeds invisible to the naked eye, they burst through the roof of the Night Rose Palace.
They soared into the sky.
On the ground.
Everyone in the Night Rose Palace.
Raised their heads.
Their eyes tracked the trajectories in the sky.
The dimension of combat between those two...
They didn't even have the right to understand it.
Above the sky.
The crowd could only see two points of light.
One multicolored.
One cyan.
Each collision produced terrifying shockwaves.
The shockwaves pressed toward the ground.
Lilian bit her finger.
A dark red blood shield opened above Bell and the others.
The blood shield shook violently under the impact of the shockwaves.
Cracks appeared.
Then they were forcibly repaired as Lilian injected her mana.
Cecilia reached out.
A longsword of Blood Source Magic condensed in her palm.
The Blood Dance Tattoo went into full output.
The tattoos detached from their fixed form.
They spread from her left arm to her chest, abdomen, and legs.
Her entire being was wrapped in dark red rose patterns.
She swung the sword.
Continuous massive explosions occurred in the sky.
Flames swallowed the clouds.
Leovet leaned forward.
The cyan point of light pierced through the center of the explosion.
He gave a light wave of his hand.
Countless wind blades were unleashed.
They covered half the sky.
In the gaps between attacks.
Cecilia’s World Tree Heart was frantically supplying mana.
Every time a wound appeared on her body.
It healed within zero point one seconds.
Monster.
This monster.
She gritted her teeth while parrying the flying wind blades.
This guy was using mana across his entire body to defend against the Element Realm’s influence.
And yet he could still use such massive amounts of mana to attack with such ease.
She gathered her mana.
She surged upward.
She burst out of the wind blades’ range.
Then she turned into a multicolored line.
Plummeting straight down from high altitude.
Charging at Leovet.
The two of them fought from the sky to the ground.
The moment they landed.
They separated.
The wave of mana overturned the earth.
Stone slabs shattered into powder.
They were swept into the sky along with the soil from beneath.
Cecilia came to a halt.
Her chest was heaving violently.
The light of the five elements dimmed for a moment.
“Leovet.”
She called out his name.
“Let me go, and I’ll tell you about ‘The Soloer,’ how about that?”
Leovet’s movements paused for a moment.
His gaze locked onto Cecilia.
She really knew quite a lot.
He exerted force with his feet.
He vanished instantly.
He attacked Cecilia directly.
Cecilia hurriedly raised her arms to block.
They exchanged a punch.
Their fists brushed past each other.
The mana instantly shattered an entire row of houses behind them.
Load-bearing walls collapsed.
Roofs smashed into the ground.
Leovet’s hand showed no injury.
Cecilia’s fist already revealed white bone.
The flesh had been completely stripped away.
A green light flashed.
Granulation tissue, blood vessels, and skin regrew on the bone.
Repaired again.
Leovet turned.
He charged again.
They traded blows.
With every collision, a section of houses was shattered.
With every collision, Cecilia’s fists were ground to dust.
Then the World Tree Heart healed them.
Shattered.
Healed.
Flesh and blood flew.
Green light flickered.
The crisp sound of bones breaking and the wet sound of muscle regenerating intertwined.
