Su Wan’s movements didn’t falter for a second. Her left hand shot out like lightning, catching the handle of the canvas bag a split second before it hit the floor. Using her forward momentum, she drove her right knee into Er Hu’s defenseless abdomen like a battering ram!
“Bang!”
With a muffled thud, Er Hu’s nearly two-hundred-pound frame doubled over like a shrimp, a wheezing gasp escaping his throat.
The force of the strike lifted him off his feet, sending him flying backward. He slammed hard against the wall before sliding limply to the floor.
It all happened in a flash!
“Fuck! You’re dead!” Li Bao shouted in shock and rage. He lunged from the sofa, grabbing a glass ashtray from the coffee table and hurling it straight at Su Wan’s head!
He roared, “Ah Qiang! Kill her!”
Ah Qiang reacted just as quickly. With a murderous glint in his eyes, he flicked open a switchblade and lunged, aiming for Su Wan’s side!
Facing a pincer attack, Su Wan’s gaze remained as cold as frost.
She didn’t even bother dodging the ashtray Li Bao threw. With a slight tilt of her head, the glass missed her ear by an inch and shattered against the door behind her.
As for Ah Qiang’s blade, she shifted her weight, her body sliding past the steel like a swimming fish, narrowly avoiding the edge.
At the same time, she flicked her left wrist. The canvas bag swung like a meteor hammer, slamming heavily into Ah Qiang’s knife-wielding wrist!
“Clang!” The switchblade flew from his hand.
Ah Qiang’s wrist erupted in pain. Before he could even register what had happened, Su Wan’s right leg lashed out like a whip, connecting solidly with his shin!
Crack! The sound of bone snapping was sickeningly clear!
“Aaargh!” Ah Qiang screamed, falling to one knee.
Su Wan pressed her advantage, swinging the canvas bag again. This time, she aimed for his temple!
But at the last moment, she pulled her strength, shifting from a strike to a press. She used the heavy bottom of the bag to pin him to the floor while stepping firmly on his other good leg to prevent him from struggling.
In the blink of an eye, both fierce thugs were incapacitated on the ground.
Li Bao felt his soul leave his body!
What kind of fucking monster was this?!
This speed, this power, this ruthless and precise combat style—how could this be the weak, easily bullied Su Wan?!
Terrified, he backed away until his spine hit the wall. With nowhere left to run, his face was a mask of fear and disbelief. “You… you…”
Su Wan didn’t give him a chance to speak or resist.
She dropped the canvas bag and blurred forward, appearing right in front of him.
Li Bao threw a desperate punch, but Su Wan parried it easily, delivering a stinging slap to his face!
“Smack!” The sound was sharp and loud!
Li Bao’s head snapped to the side. Another loose tooth flew out of his mouth amidst a spray of blood.
Su Wan didn’t stop. She grabbed his collar with her left hand and drove her right fist—knuckles protruding—into the area over his liver with a precise, concentrated burst of force!
“Urgh—!” Li Bao’s stomach churned. The agonizing pain instantly sapped his strength, leaving him slumped against the wall like a pile of wet mud, unable to do anything but moan in agony.
From the moment she threw the bag to the moment all three men were down, less than ten seconds had passed.
Clean, efficient, and ruthless—it was a performance entirely unlike that of a “weak woman.”
She stopped the physical assault and focused her mind. The Energy Core in her chest pulsed, and a cool, powerful wave of mental power condensed instantly.
【Mental Shock】!
An invisible, intangible force, as sharp as a spike, pierced toward Li Bao like a cold steel needle!
Su Wan delivered a precise and heavy blow to Li Bao’s consciousness, which was already wavering from pain and terror!
“Ugh—!”
Li Bao’s body stiffened.
His eyes remained wide, frozen in an expression of horror, but his pupils lost their focus.
His mouth hung open as if he wanted to say something, but no sound came out. He slid slowly down the wall and hit the floor with a thud, falling into a deep coma.
Su Wan repeated the process on Er Hu and Ah Qiang, and the three of them lost consciousness one by one.
Su Wan took a deep breath and knelt down, placing her fingers on Li Bao’s carotid artery. After confirming he was only unconscious, she stopped.
She needed time. She couldn’t let them wake up, at least not in the short term.
She channeled her mental power again, performing a deep Mental Suppression and interference on their minds.
The cold, heavy mental energy settled over their brains like a thick fog, continuously seeping in to disrupt their brains’ self-repair and waking mechanisms, artificially extending their physiological coma.
By the time she finished, a light sweat had broken out on Su Wan’s forehead.
Performing continuous Mental Suppression on three targets took quite a toll on her.
Su Wan estimated that with her current mental strength and this level of interference, these three would spend at least three days in the hospital before they could even begin to regain consciousness.
And even after waking up, they would suffer from splitting headaches and sluggish thoughts for a while.
Three days was more than enough time for her to get things done.
She stood up quickly, not sparing another glance at the three men lying like dead dogs on the floor. She walked to the bedroom door and pushed it open.
“Sister-in-law, Lele, let’s go!”
Inside the room, Liu Xin had heard the fighting and the sudden, heavy silence. She was pale with fright, clutching Lele tightly.
Seeing Su Wan unharmed while the three thugs lay motionless by the door, she was overcome with shock and relief. She hurried out with the child in her arms.
Su Wan didn’t explain. She took Lele with one hand and grabbed Liu Xin with the other. “Move fast! They won’t be waking up anytime soon.”
The three of them hurried downstairs.
The two lackeys guarding the entrance were busy scrolling through videos on their phones. Hearing someone coming down, one of them looked up.
He saw Su Wan carrying the child and pulling Liu Xin along at a brisk pace.
He froze for a moment and nudged the other lackey.
In that brief moment of hesitation, Su Wan had already pulled Liu Xin out of the building entrance.
Realizing something was wrong, the two lackeys moved to intercept them. Su Wan suddenly turned back and called out, “Brother Leopard wants you guys upstairs!”
Their footsteps faltered. They figured that since Er Hu and Ah Qiang were up there, Brother Leopard wouldn’t have let them leave if the debt hadn't been settled.
Besides, the canvas bag Su Wan had been carrying was gone. It looked like she had definitely paid up.
Now that Brother Leopard was calling them up, he was probably going to distribute their cut of the money!
The two of them grinned, exchanged a look, and hurried up the stairs.
Su Wan led Liu Xin and Lele out of the alley and flagged down a passing taxi.
“Driver, take us to the city center.”
The taxi merged into the flow of traffic, quickly disappearing around the corner.
Back in the building, the two lackeys rushed upstairs excitedly. They pushed open the ajar door and stood there, dumbfounded.
