Hearing Rose ask this, Olivia nodded. "That's right, because we can't let anyone recognize us right now."
"A lot has happened to me while you were asleep, and many people recognize me now, so I need to keep a low profile."
In truth, besides Olivia herself, Rose was also very eye-catching. There was a quite eerie aura about her that made her difficult to ignore.
So Olivia had taken a forbidden artifact from the church that could lower her and Rose's presence. With her current status, she didn't even need to apply to take such a sealed-grade forbidden artifact; she could just take it and leave a note stating it was in her possession.
Rose nodded in understanding. "I see. So Sister Olivia has become a big celebrity, just like those popular people in the theaters, right?"
"It's reasonable to think of it that way." Olivia smiled.
They walked down the street like that, weaving through the crowd, yet no one noticed their existence.
...
People's fortunes varied.
Even among the Protagonists of the Era, some were living leisurely lives, while others were in the depths of misery.
The Dragon's Nest.
Guinevere was moving rapidly through a passage with treacherous terrain.
Dragon horns protruded from her head, a tail grew behind her, and a pair of dragon wings unfurled from her back.
"What on earth is going on? Why are the vanished dragons reappearing? And why like this?"
Guinevere couldn't help but curse under her breath, cold sweat dripping from her forehead.
At this very moment, even she felt a sense of terror.
Because right now, she was running for her life!
As a Protagonist of the Era, and one who had already become an Evolver, the fact that she needed to run for her life was incredible, yet it was the cold reality.
Guinevere could only flee the area at her maximum speed.
She entered a relatively narrow passage that could only fit one person at a time.
After entering this passage, Guinevere breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that those massive dragons shouldn't be able to enter such a space.
However, just as the thought crossed her mind, a massive rumbling echoed from behind her.
Along with the rumbling came a deafening roar.
Immediately after, Guinevere noticed the cave behind her being forcibly torn open.
The earth and stone were no protection at all.
A massive figure squeezed through the earth, constantly closing in.
A surging aura flooded toward her, making Guinevere feel as if her heart were about to stop beating.
She looked back, and even though it wasn't the first time she had seen that hideous figure, she still found it unbelievable, her spirituality throbbing with pain.
It was a dragon, possessing the massive body and hard dragon scales of the dragons from myths and legends, along with a pair of huge wings.
But this dragon had nine heads, crowded together in an extremely savage manner.
Each head was a different color, clearly not a natural growth but rather something that had been forcibly stitched together.
Red, yellow, green, black, white, purple, blue, brown, and azure.
The dragon heads of various colors were stitched together, creating an exceptionally terrifying sight.
In legend, the dragon race was an intelligent one, capable of communication.
But the dragon before her was completely incapable of communication; every eye on its nine heads was filled with intense madness.
The dragon charged forward with a deafening roar, as if it would tear apart anything in its path.
This was an extremely terrifying dragon.
But it wasn't just this one dragon that was terrifying.
What was truly terrifying was that behind this dragon, there were many more!
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
From behind, more roars echoed, earth-shattering, as if the sound itself could tear everything apart.
Then, all sorts of dragons charged forward, each appearing grotesque and extremely strange.
This was why Guinevere felt so terrified.
It was one thing for dragons, creatures that had already vanished, to suddenly appear, but for so many to emerge at once was another.
And even worse, every single one of them was exceptionally bizarre.
They were twisted, they were mad; they no longer seemed like simple living creatures.
No one knew what had happened to these dragons, but Guinevere understood that it was something significant enough to shock and terrify the world.
But now was not the time for her to ponder such things; she had to escape first. Even a powerhouse like her could die at any moment facing these mad dragons.
Fortunately, she was not far from the exit of the Dragon's Nest.
Swoosh!
Amidst a piercing whistle, Guinevere burst out of the Dragon's Nest.
She plunged into a patch of light and returned to the main world.
The vast world emitted a glow that finally put her heart at ease.
But before Guinevere could fully relax, another deafening roar came from behind her.
She whipped her head around and saw that the void behind her was like a mirror hit by a heavy blow, with cobweb-like cracks spreading across it.
Immediately after, massive heads began to burrow out of the cracked void in a savage manner.
The dragons were coming out!
The sight made Guinevere's skin crawl, and she quickly turned to flee the area.
This matter had to be reported to the church as soon as possible.
...
Kaliron, inside a box at a theater.
Olivia and Rose were watching a play.
The dramas of the Holy Kelidos Empire were constantly evolving, filled with mythological elements and quite exciting.
Today was the premiere of a new play, and the performance was excellent; even a transmigrator like Olivia couldn't help but nod in approval.
Olivia rubbed Rose's head and asked, "How is it? Are you satisfied with this kind of life?"
Rose nodded repeatedly. "I love it. If I could, I'd want to live like this every day."
Olivia smiled. "Of course you can. We don't have anything special to deal with right now, and life is relatively peaceful. We can definitely live like this every day."
Hearing this, Rose smiled happily, her eyes shining exceptionally bright.
