Over the last few minutes, the curly-haired woman had used a dozen different ways and angles to praise Ivelina's outfit, appearance, temperament, posture, and more.
It gave Tyr a thorough demonstration of truly breathtaking eloquence.
“You flatter me, Lady Alosa.”
Ivelina naturally knew the other party was merely flattering her, but as the recipient of such compliments, it was still quite pleasing.
“How could that be? Your beauty is renowned throughout Montesis.”
This was indeed true. Back when Ivelina was younger, her beauty had already been sung of throughout the various noble circles of the region.
“Let me introduce you. This is my older sister, Carenna Aglaia.”
Ivelina stepped aside and introduced her sister to Lady Alosa.
“Oh my goodness, I didn't expect the Saintess herself to grace us with her presence. It is truly an honor.”
Lady Alosa had naturally noticed Carenna long ago. Besides, there were likely very few nobles in the Kester Empire who didn't recognize the Saintess.
Yet no matter how noble the other party's status was, this was the Marquisate of Lanier, and her lord was Marquis Lanier.
Therefore, even though Carenna outranked Ivelina according to etiquette, Lady Alosa still prioritized Ivelina.
She knew very well whose territory she was in and who put food on her table.
“This is my son, Tyr Callis.”
“And this is his cousin, Sevira Callis.”
Ivelina pulled Tyr and Sevira over to Alosa. Today, these two were the main characters.
“It is an honor to meet you, Young Master, Young Lady. Both of you are so exceptionally gifted. You are truly blessed, Marchioness.”
Once Lady Alosa opened her mouth, the stream of compliments was endless.
“This is Montesis's most famous fashion designer, as well as the trendsetter of the city, Viscountess Warren, Lady Alosa,” Ivelina introduced.
After introducing Tyr and the others, Ivelina began introducing the clothing store's owner, Alosa.
“You flatter me, Marchioness. If anyone is the trendsetter of Montesis, it must be you.”
As the mistress of the marquisate, Ivelina had always been the leader of Montesis's social circles. Sometimes, even if the clothes she wore weren't particularly extravagant, simply because they were on her, they would spark a new trend.
Of course, Ivelina's personal taste in fashion was indeed excellent, so her title as a trendsetter was well-deserved.
Since almost all of Ivelina's clothes were custom-made by Alosa, it ensured her shop's position in Montesis remained rock-solid.
Because of this, Lady Alosa held immense respect for Ivelina.
“The children just returned from the Sword Prison, and we don't have any clothes for them at home. That's why I plan to custom-order a few sets for them here.”
Ivelina gently pushed Tyr and Sevira in front of her.
“Of course, it would be my honor.”
Lady Alosa replied and took out a measuring tape to personally take Tyr and Sevira's measurements.
The shop assistant stood to the side, handing Alosa her tools.
Under normal circumstances, Alosa would never personally handle something like taking a customer's body measurements.
Such tasks were usually left to her assistants, while she focused solely on the cutting and designing of the garments.
However, this rule did not apply to the Marquis's family.
Whenever the Marquis or Marchioness visited, Alosa always handled everything herself.
From taking measurements to discussing styles, crafting the clothes, and finally delivering them in person.
“Marchioness, Young Master Tyr, Lady Saintess, Young Lady Sevira, you may look through these styles. If nothing catches your eye, you can simply describe what you want.”
After taking their measurements, Lady Alosa handed a thick catalog to Ivelina.
Ivelina took the catalog and opened it, revealing three-angle illustrations of exquisite outfits.
Carenna walked over to Ivelina's side, and the two began selecting styles.
As for Tyr and Sevira, the two main subjects, they were left standing to the side.
“Aren't you going to take a look and choose a style you like?” Tyr said to Sevira. When girls bought clothes, they usually preferred to choose something they personally liked.
“It's fine. I trust the taste of the Marchioness and the Saintess.”
In truth, Sevira didn't know how to choose either. Her father was merely a rural Baron, and she had never stepped foot inside a high-end boutique of this caliber before.
Sometimes, the gap between nobles could be as vast as a chasm.
“Alright then.”
Tyr shrugged. He didn't care anyway; his only requirements for clothes were that they were wearable and not too ugly.
Seeing Tyr and Sevira with nothing to do, Lady Alosa had her assistant lead them to the other side of the boutique.
There was a sofa there where guests could rest.
Once the two sat down, the assistant brought over two cups of herbal tea.
Half an hour later, Ivelina and Carenna were still flipping through the catalog.
In their minds, they were imagining Tyr and Sevira in all sorts of different outfits.
But when it came to which ones looked the best, they simply couldn't decide.
“Tyr, Sevira, come over here for a second.”
After much consideration, having fallen into a state of indecision, Ivelina decided to have them try some on.
Alosa had sample garments in the shop. Although they were only semi-finished, they were enough to see the overall effect.
Next, Tyr and Sevira passively entered dress-up doll mode.
Regardless of how Tyr felt, Sevira was certainly enjoying herself.
As time passed, after trying on an unknown number of outfits.
Pensive expressions remained on Ivelina and Carenna's faces. They still hadn't decided which sets to purchase.
“Forget it. Since they all look good, let's just make a set of every single style.”
After some thought, Ivelina made her decision. Since she couldn't choose, she would simply take them all.
Tyr offered no comment on his mother's extravagant "I want them all" attitude.
Because right now, he only wanted to go home.
...
Northern Kester Empire, the County of Ronal.
Inside the Count's estate, in the office of the Count's eldest son.
“Still no news of Laciel?”
The Count's eldest son flipped through the documents in his hand, asking the guard beside him without looking up.
“Yes, young lord. We went to the meeting place we had agreed upon with the young master a while ago, but he never showed up.”
“And since then, no matter what method we use, we have been unable to contact the young master.”
“Unable to contact him?” The Count's eldest son tapped his fingers on the desk, his mind racing through the possibilities. “Tell me, was he discovered by House Callis? Or did he run off on his own after getting the item?”
