A massive, unreasonable repulsive force descended.
There was no fire, no mana fluctuations, and not even a hint of a preparation process.
A pure logical thrust of “You are not allowed to sleep in a coffin” acted upon Sophie’s entire back.
Whoosh—
Sophie’s body was ejected from the coffin, soaring into the high sky at an angle nearly perpendicular to the ground.
In a few seconds, her altitude broke thirty meters, then fifty meters.
Finally, her kinetic energy and gravity reached an equilibrium.
Sophie stalled for a brief moment in mid-air. She looked down; the wilderness below had become a mat of weeds, and that red sandalwood coffin was now just a tiny black dot.
Then, the fall began.
The wind reversed direction.
Sophie spread her wings and descended from the sky.
She finally possessed the speed a Low-tier Vampire should have, and she could flap her wings to fly normally.
With 15 Agility, it was roughly equivalent to a commoner’s panel of all 10s plus the 5-point bonus from the Low-tier Vampire template.
It hadn’t been easy.
Since she started allocating points, she hadn’t controlled her body with attributes like these.
Sophie had been treading on thin ice this entire way, never knowing if she could make it to the other side.

Sophie walked over to the coffin and pushed the heavy red sandalwood box over, letting its side rest against the ground with the opening facing diagonally upward at roughly a forty-five-degree angle.
Then, Sophie took a few steps back, aimed her back at the opening, and fell backward with force, sliding into the overturned coffin.

This time, the direction of the thrust was no longer vertically upward but followed the direction of the coffin’s opening, booming out a shallow parabolic arc.
Sophie’s body flew low, skimming the tops of the wild grass. She moved so fast that the airflow flattened the grass beneath her, leaving a long trail in her wake.
She flew for a full two hundred meters before gravity took hold, and she slammed headfirst into a pile of rocks ahead.
Crash—
Several weathered rocks were shattered by her impact. Sophie’s body was wedged between two large stones, her limbs twisted at grotesque angles and her chest completely caved in.
