Even though they were annoyed to no end, they couldn't do anything to her. After all, they still had to rely on her to open Atlantis. At most, they could only shut their doors and refuse to see her.
However, shutting their doors was useless; some things simply couldn't be avoided just because one wanted to.
The next seven days were a heart-stopping nightmare for them!
On the first day, undercurrents struck, and a cliffside collapsed. It was just a minor incident, and no one was hurt.
On the second day, toxic ores were discovered within the collapsed cliff. Everyone was poisoned, but it was minor, causing no real harm.
On the third day, cracks appeared in the crust at the bottom of the canyon. Scorching lava seeped through the fissures, forming pools of hazardous molten rock. Although they suffered some minor burns, it was still nothing serious.

By the seventh day, a volcanic eruption occurred, nearly burying the entire canyon. While the deep-sea overlords themselves were fine, their subordinates were wiped out completely!
Finally, they couldn't hold out any longer!
The deep-sea overlords looked at each other and unanimously decided, “We set off now!”
Even a once-in-a-millennium volcanic eruption had happened. What else was impossible?
If they dragged this out any further, they might all be dead before they even found Atlantis.
Ning Busan expressed immense regret over this. “But Lilian still wanted to spend more time with you all!”

The eel also felt they made sense and nodded in agreement.

Hundreds of jiaoren rapidly approached, holding tridents in their hands, their expressions filled with rage.
The Deep Sea Queen clicked her tongue. “Here comes trouble!”
These jiaoren quickly surrounded them. The leader's eyes blazed with fury. “The Sea God has only fallen into a slumber and will awaken one day. I will never allow you to disturb his sleep.”
Ning Busan massaged his temples.
He didn't know about disturbing the god, but if they didn't let him in soon, his Siren card would really be gone.
He had been wondering before: every single jiaoren possessed the strength of a deep-sea overlord, so why were they completely uninterested in the temple of Atlantis?
It turned out they were devout believers of the Sea God!
The giant whale said, “The jiaoren have always minded their own business. Yet to stop us, you've actually united as one.”
The jiaoren leader barked, “Save your breath! You blasphemers won't take a single step closer to the temple!”
The Deep Sea Queen let out a shrill laugh. “Blasphemers? If we're talking about that, you jiaoren aren't any nobler.”
She pointed at Ning Busan. “Hasn't a blasphemer also emerged from among your own kind?”
Ning Busan, suddenly put on the spot: “...”
“Gee, thanks,” he thought. “Still remembering to draw aggro to me even at a time like this.”
The jiaoren leader glared at Ning Busan with fury. “Traitor who betrayed the Sea God! You are not worthy of being a jiaoren!”
Ning Busan curled his lip.
As if anyone actually wanted to be seafood.
“Clear the path to the temple!” The seahorse's sneer echoed through the water. “The Sea God has long since perished. What on earth are you still holding on to?”
The jiaoren leader said, “Since you refuse to listen to reason, do not blame us for being ruthless.”
Just as a battle was about to break out, a massive black hole suddenly materialized in their midst.
Ning Busan's eyelid twitched. Without a second thought, he grabbed Lilian and used Spatial Displacement. To hesitate for even a single second would be a complete disrespect to his own life.

The black hole greedily drained the life force of everything around it. The hair of all the sea monsters present lost its luster at a visible rate, and their scales began to slough off.
Surrounded by the jiaoren, the Deep Sea Queen and the other overlords looked incredibly grim.
The giant whale said, “Let's leave this place first. Otherwise, none of us will survive.”
Just as both sides were about to take a step back, a deafening rumble echoed from the depths of the black hole, and the entire body of water began to shake violently.
The jiaoren leader's pupils shrank, and he cried out, “Get back!”
But it was already too late.
The black hole contracted sharply before violently expanding. A powerful shockwave rippled outward, knocking all the sea monsters off their feet.
The Deep Sea Queen suddenly had an ominous premonition.
This thing isn't about to collapse, is it?
The edges of the black hole continuously twisted and tore, expanding to an unbelievable size.
Deep within that pitch-black abyss, she saw countless pairs of glowing eyes and heard bone-chilling roars.
Under the disbelieving stares of the sea monsters, the first xeno squeezed its way out of the black hole.
It was a massive, distorted creature, its body woven from countless tentacles. It had no facial features on its head, only a circular maw lined with razor-sharp teeth.
Then came a second, a third... Countless xenos swarmed out of the black hole, their eyes filled with a frenzied desire to destroy everything.
The jiaoren leader raised his trident and charged forward. “We can't let them escape, or the entire deep sea will suffer!”
“Don't get too close to the black hole,” the giant whale warned. “Deal with the xenos after they come out, or your life force will be drained.”
However, the sheer number of xenos was so overwhelming that they threatened to fill the entire sea.
They were endless!
There was simply no end to them!
While they were desperately fighting off the xenos, Ning Busan and Lilian had already slipped away, heading toward the central region of the Realm of Eternal Night.
Because Ning Busan had run away so quickly, he had absolutely no idea that the black hole had already collapsed.
