With a loud roar, Furiel exerted her full strength, flipping Jonavili over in an instant and taking the opportunity to pin her down with a heavy paw.
Having endured this powerful blow, Jonavili could only scream "holy crap" in her heart. However, because of this strike, she simply stopped moving and decided to just lie there and give up.
'I can't believe that even with my Physical Talent Augmentation, I'm still being pinned down so tightly by this red wyrmling. No, we're both dragons, but this power gap is just too much.'
Seeing that the white fool before her had finally settled down, Furiel nodded in satisfaction. She planted a claw firmly on Jonavili's body and let out a roar belonging to a victor.
"Roar!!"
The youthful and tender draconic cry rang out, manifesting her status as the winner.
"Remember, it was the great Furiel who defeated you."
Furiel looked down at the white dragon beneath her, and Jonavili opened her eyes to look back.
As their eyes met, the red dragon's maw curled into a slight smirk.
Afterward, Furiel held her head high and chest out as she stepped off Jonavili, walking over to the frenzied bull to begin feasting on the remaining meat.
Seeing the red wyrmling begin to eat, Jonavili rolled over, stood up, and walked to her side.
Furiel had just opened her maw when she suddenly raised her head, baring her teeth and issuing a low growl as a warning.
Jonavili froze; this was clearly the prey she had caught.
But there was nothing she could do. The one with the bigger fist made the rules.
Jonavili retreated to the side and lay down obediently, starting to munch on the nearby aquatic grass as if they were snacks.
'This feeling of helplessness... it's like a kitten protecting its food.'
Seeing the white dragon move away, Furiel turned back and resumed her meal.
Among Dragons, those who could eat together were either very close or engaged in a provocative attempt to steal food.
This was why Furiel had exhibited food-guarding behavior, but it also gave her a deeper understanding of the white dragon's level of stupidity—she had no sense of personal space.
By the time she finished the entire frenzied bull, Furiel felt only sixty percent full. However, she wasn't in a hurry to eat more because there was an annoying fellow sitting right next to her.
"You. You can get lost now."
Furiel began to drive Jonavili away. Jonavili was stunned for a moment, but that was quickly followed by a sense of relief.
She pretended not to understand, her two crystal blue dragon eyes blinking rapidly as she tilted her round head.
"Awoo?"
Seeing that the white fool didn't understand her words, Furiel looked speechless. She raised a dragon claw and pointed into the distance.
"Go out!"
Hearing the command to get lost, Jonavili felt annoyed, but she still stood up and sidled over to Furiel's side. Her round dragon head began to rub against the red dragon's body in a fawning manner.
What a joke. It would be a waste to let such a top-tier bodyguard just walk away. If she played her cards right, she wouldn't have to worry about food ever again.
Besides, food was abundant here; where else could she find such a perfect habitat?
Seeing this white dragon suddenly start acting affectionate, even Furiel, with her draconic inheritance, was baffled.
'Wait, didn't I just beat you up? Are we really that close? She really is a fool.'
But fool or not, a chromatic dragon wouldn't stop bullying you just because you were slow.
Furiel slapped Jonavili away with a paw and then kicked her into the nearby river. Having done this, Furiel spread her dragon wings and took to the sky to search for more suitable prey.
She wasn't afraid of the white dragon refusing to leave; if the fool insisted on loitering in her territory, Furiel didn't mind beating her up again.
Jonavili poked her dragon head out of the water, a large fish about two meters long clamped in her mouth. Her crystal blue eyes watched the departing red wyrmling with a look of resentment.
'Fine, fine, fine. You dare to kick me? I'll remember this!'
After recording Furiel's misdeed in her mental notebook, Jonavili swam ashore and began to eat the still-wriggling fish.
After being rinsed by the river water, the bloodstains on her body had been washed away, revealing her originally plump and cute white form.
The two-meter-long fish was quickly swallowed into her stomach, and the mana core inside was crunched down like a snack.
After finishing the fish and the beef she had eaten earlier, Jonavili felt barely half full.
Her nose twitched, catching the faint, lingering scent of heat and sulfur in the air.
Jonavili let out a draconic grin. She wasn't about to give up on that top-tier bodyguard. Besides, wandering outside alone as a wyrmling was far too dangerous. If she could have a powerful ally, she could pass through her wyrmling and even juvenile stages much more safely.
Furthermore, if she really left, how would she get revenge for that kick? Would she have taken that beating for nothing?
Even if the world was small, the chances of meeting again in the future were too low. Who knew if the red dragon would suddenly decide to move on a whim?
With these thoughts, Jonavili spread her wings and took to the sky, following the scent Furiel had left behind.
Within minutes, she spotted Furiel eating on the plains below.
Furiel stopped her movements, having already noticed Jonavili following her. With her head still covered in blood, she stood up and bared her teeth at Jonavili.
Jonavili pretended not to see it and began her descent.
In Furiel's eyes, this behavior was undoubtedly a provocation. She opened her dragon maw, and dragon breath began to condense within.
A line of red fire shot from Furiel's maw, which Jonavili hastily dodged.
As Furiel turned her head to follow, Jonavili was eventually struck in the wing. She instantly lost her balance, flapping her wings wildly as she plummeted from the sky, crashing not far from Furiel.
Furiel marched toward the downed white dragon, standing before her with an arrogant and haughty expression.
"Stupid white dragon, what exactly is your purpose in following me?"
Jonavili rolled over and lay on the ground, her fall injuries already rapidly healing. She looked up at Furiel with a pitiful, aggrieved expression, like a poor little thing that deserved a dragon's pity.
Furiel narrowed her eyes. She was a chromatic dragon; how could she possibly be moved by cuteness? Though... that fleshy, chubby feeling... the texture must be quite good.
Furiel was startled by the thought that had popped into her head and quickly shook her dragon head to toss the messy thoughts aside.
"Awoo~"
Jonavili let out a weak cry, pointed at her stomach, and then at her open dragon maw.
Seeing this, Furiel wasn't surprised that the white dragon couldn't speak; after all, their intelligence was notoriously low, though it would improve once they reached adulthood.
"If you want food, go get it yourself. But the premise is that you leave my territory."
Jonavili pretended not to understand, tilting her head before shamelessly standing up and pressing herself against Furiel's chest.
Her round white head gently rubbed against the plate-like white dragon scales on Furiel's chest.
Furiel hadn't expected the white dragon to pull a move like this and instinctively took a step back, but that was immediately followed by a surge of irritation.
She was a powerful red dragon, yet she had actually been startled into taking a step back.
