Ruby Blue

Ruby Blue was extremely picky about its growing environment, requiring dark and dry places with no exposure to light or ventilation.

This place perfectly matched its ideal growing conditions.

“Linglong, is there any way to directly bring them into the space to plant them?”

Jiang Lu nodded and looked around. The cave wasn't very large. She reached out her hand and touched the cave wall.

Immediately, the surrounding spiritual plants, along with the stone walls their stems clung to, vanished from in front of her.

After the stone walls and the Ruby Blue were taken into the space, Linglong created a one-to-one replica of the cave based on its original appearance.

Following the sound of the wind came a rustling noise, and a spider with alternating black and white patterns slowly emerged.

It had red eyes, two sharp fangs protruding from its mouth, and fine white webbing wrapped around its eight legs.

Blood Demon Spider!

An adult was a Tier Five demon beast. However, due to the high flexibility and strength of its webbing, its actual combat power was doubled.

The one before her was only Tier Two, likely just a cub.

Blood Demon Spiders were solitary demon beasts. The mother spider would leave her eggs in various easily survivable locations, where they would hatch on their own.

Jiang Lu suddenly spotted a stone pillar not far away. She had an idea!

She ran toward the pillar and commanded Chi Li and Cang Chen to use their fire and water to form walls to trap the spider.

The two beasts nodded and waited on either side as Jiang Lu had instructed.

With a sharp screech from its mouth, the Blood Demon Spider swiftly lunged at Jiang Lu.

Jiang Lu climbed and leaped across the stone pillars.

She repeatedly hurled spells from her hands to hinder its progress.

The Blood Demon Spider continuously spat webbing onto the stone pillars, pursuing Jiang Lu from below.

Seeing this, Chi Li and Cang Chen surrounded it with water and fire, gradually closing the elemental walls in on the beast.

It worked!

Smelling the burnt odor filling the air, Jiang Lu looked delighted.

The fire incinerated every bit of the webbing the spider had spat out.

Even though the Blood Demon Spider desperately wanted to wrap itself in its webbing to escape, it couldn't move an inch.

Watching the fire and water before her, a sudden thought flashed through Jiang Lu's mind, but she failed to grasp it. For now, she only felt that these two spirit beasts were incredibly useful.

She had originally thought their fire and water would merely counter the Blood Demon Spider. She hadn't expected them to incinerate its webbing, let alone burn the curled-up beast to death.
