The system's explanation continued.
【Fourth Tier: City Defense Force soldiers...】
【Fifth Tier: Militia...】
【In addition, all combat personnel have been issued a full set of warm gear, all exchanged with system Points. This gear allows them to maintain normal operational capacity for approximately four hours in environments of minus forty-five degrees...】
【All weapons, ammunition, and medical supplies were stockpiled three days in advance...】
Su Wan felt a wave of relief after hearing this.
Feng Mu, the City Defense Force commander, was truly capable; he certainly hadn't disappointed her.
It seemed that both the City Defense Force and the tenants knew how to deal with Rot-Walkers better than she did.
She had worried for nothing.
Even if she hadn't returned, Feng Mu could have led everyone in Terminal Station to withstand the Rot-Walker assault.
“Order Feng Mu to proceed as planned.”
【Instruction transmitted. Feng Mu reports: ‘Please rest assured, Master. Battle preparations are complete; we are merely waiting for the Rot-Walkers to arrive.’】
Su Wan opened her eyes, her gaze falling toward the Non-Safe Zone.
She was no longer worried about Terminal Station’s defense.
With a combat force of over seven hundred people, Shen Han as a Level 4 powerhouse overseeing things, and over three hundred fully armed City Defense Force soldiers...
This configuration was enough to handle the impact of thousands of low-rank Rot-Walkers.
The most troublesome part now was actually that Level 4 Rot-Walker.
It possessed intelligence, could command low-rank Rot-Walkers, analyze the battlefield situation, and make tactical adjustments.
As long as she took it out, the combat effectiveness of the horde would be greatly reduced, and the battle would end much faster.
That was her mission.
Su Wan pulled up the system panel and quickly browsed through the weapon category.
“System, are there any specialized weapons for dealing with Rot-Walkers?”

Su Wan didn't hesitate after reading the description.
“Exchange.”
【Exchange successful: Purifier - Dedicated Rot-Walker Pulse Emitter (Portable Type) × 1. Points consumed: 180,000.】
A sleek, grayish-white pistol appeared in Su Wan's hand.
It was slightly larger than the Micro-Pore Particle Emitter, with a curved finger groove on the grip for a comfortable hold.
The barrel was a bit longer than a standard pistol, and the muzzle featured a ring of fine blue light that flickered slightly under the dim sky.
The energy indicator showed a full charge.
Su Wan stored the Purifier in her system space and turned, darting toward the Non-Safe Zone.
Her Level 4 Mid Stage physical stats exploded to the limit in that moment. Every step carried her several meters forward, sending the snow beneath her feet flying in all directions.
The silhouette of the Non-Safe Zone appeared ahead.
The twisted vines, massive trees, and eerie vegetation had lost their original hideous appearance under the blanket of ice and snow, turning into rounded white hills.
Occasionally, a few vines not entirely covered by snow would peek out from the drifts, swaying slightly in the cold wind.
Su Wan’s mental power expanded fully, and the position of the Rot-Walker army presented itself clearly in her consciousness.
She bypassed the main force and cut in from the side.
Her target wasn't the low-rank Rot-Walkers, but the few Level 3s at the rear of the column and the Level 4 deeper in.
Amidst the wind and snow, the outlines of the first batch of Rot-Walkers emerged ahead.
There were two Level 3 Rot-Walkers walking side by side.
Su Wan approached from the flank, getting within fifty meters of them.
The two Level 3 Rot-Walkers seemed to sense something and turned their heads simultaneously to look in Su Wan's direction.
In Su Wan's eyes, their reactions were too slow.
Activating Shadow Stealth, Su Wan approached soundlessly.
When she was less than ten meters from the nearest Rot-Walker, she flicked her wrist, and the Purifier appeared in her hand.
The blue ring at the muzzle lit up, and Su Wan pulled the trigger twice in rapid succession!
Two blue pulses, almost impossible to track with the naked eye, shot one after the other into the back of the Level 3 Rot-Walker's head.
Its body suddenly stiffened!
Its reddish eyes vibrated violently in their sockets, and the red light in its pupils began to flicker and jump like a faulty light bulb.
Then, its body slowly leaned forward, like a collapsing statue, crashing into the snow and kicking up a cloud of white powder.
The other Level 3 Rot-Walker beside it saw its companion fall and let out a low, beast-like roar.
It turned and lunged at Su Wan with extreme speed, leaving a trail of deep footprints in the snow.
The Purifier in Su Wan's hand lit up again, hitting the lunging Rot-Walker square in the chest.
Its figure jerked mid-air before crashing heavily into the snow. It slid several meters, slamming into a withered tree covered in snow, causing the frost on the branches to tumble down.
It struggled to get up, but the damage to its Energy Core made its limbs refuse to cooperate.
Su Wan quickly followed up with another shot.
From discovery to kill, the two Level 3 Rot-Walkers were dealt with in less than five seconds.
Su Wan didn't stop, continuing to move deeper.
The number of Rot-Walkers ahead increased, packing together densely.
Five Level 2 Rot-Walkers were gathered in a relatively open clearing. Their bodies were a size smaller than the Level 3s but significantly larger than ordinary Rot-Walkers, and their grayish-white skin was covered in dark brown patches.
Su Wan's figure emerged from the shadows, and she pulled the trigger of the Purifier repeatedly.
The first shot hit the nearest Level 2 Rot-Walker in the back of the head. It didn't even have time to turn around before it fell straight down.
The second shot hit the chest of the second one.
The third one finally reacted and lunged toward Su Wan, but she had already dodged to its side.
The fourth shot hit its temple from the side.
The remaining two lunged at her simultaneously from the left and right.
