As Olivia continued to comprehend the new laws, the battle between the Radiant Goddess and the Death Sovereign erupted with extreme intensity.
Existences of their level engaged in a struggle that was no less significant than the fate of an entire world.
Even while existing in different worlds and separated by vast distances, they were capable of clashing.
Awe-inspiring divine skills, filled with terrifying auras, traversed one world after another before colliding. This caused destructive energy to leak into many different realms.
Of course, if the distance was too great, they could not fully exert their combat power.
Thus, after a few brief exchanges, the Radiant Goddess left the Radiant Divine Domain and headed toward the Death Sovereign's Death Divine Domain, and the Death Sovereign did the same.
The two charged at each other, quickly arriving at a public divine domain, where they began a fierce life-and-death struggle.
The Radiant Goddess was like a blazing sun hanging high in the sky, her blinding light painting the heavens and earth in a vast expanse of white.
The Death Sovereign brought with it the aura of death, causing all things to wither and fade. Everywhere it passed became a scene of absolute silence.
The two each occupied half of the heavens and earth. White and black intertwined incessantly as an aura of the end permeated the divine domain, causing the massive realm to tremble continuously.
With such a violent commotion from the battle, it was naturally impossible for the other deities not to notice.
Consequently, not long after the battle between the Radiant Goddess and the Death Sovereign began, one deity after another rushed over and appeared in the surroundings.
“What is going on?” Light shifted within the eyes of the Goddess of Fate as she attempted to observe destiny to determine what had happened.
To her surprise, however, she found herself unable to view past events. Was it because two deities were involved?
The Goddess of Fate could only ask directly.
The other gods also voiced their inquiries, deeply puzzled by the sudden eruption of combat between the two.
“Did we not just establish rules stating that gods should not easily engage in battle? What are you doing?”
“What happened that forced you to resolve it through combat?”
“Do you intend to tear up the Agreement of the Gods? If so, I wouldn't mind tearing it up as well.”
“The divine realm is fragile and cannot withstand battles between gods. Have you both disregarded this entirely?”
One deity after another spoke, their bodies radiating powerful auras as they surrounded the two combatants.
Yet even in the face of this situation, the Radiant Goddess and the Death Sovereign showed no intention of stopping.
Neither of them was the type to care for the rules of the gods, and they had no reason to cease their hostilities.
However, after a few more clashes, the Radiant Goddess's eyes narrowed.
“Well played, Death Sovereign! You actually... you actually sent a spiritual clone surreptitiously to the main world, thinking I wouldn't notice?”
The Radiant Goddess quickly detected the Death Sovereign's subtle movements; the fellow still wanted to kill Olivia.
Immediately, the Radiant Goddess tore through space and descended upon the main world.
Seeing this, the other gods followed suit and descended as well.
The main world was currently in the grip of winter, with many places covered in white snow and the air biting cold.
But in a certain instant, a blinding light bloomed from the sky, bringing warmth to every corner of the world in a single heartbeat.
At that moment, almost every living creature in the entire main world seemed to sense something. They looked up toward the void in the sky.
The main world was vast, yet no matter how large it was, every being sensed that in a certain direction, supreme existences had descended.
In the past, gods were not unknown to bestow miracles, as recorded in many books. Thus, all intelligent beings understood—a god had descended!
Before anyone could even process the marvel of a god's arrival, one powerful aura after another appeared in the main world, quickly permeating the entire globe. Every living soul felt it clearly and unmistakably.
In that instant, every living thing was struck with terror.
If a single god had descended, people would only have felt surprise and joy, believing the god was favoring the world.
But for a large number of gods to suddenly appear in this world was inevitably terrifying.
The collective descent of the gods could only make one feel anxious and uneasy.
Within the Holy Kelidos Empire, countless residents were even more horrified, for the place where the gods had descended was this very empire.
In the void not far from the Imperial Capital, Kaliron, one figure after another descended from the heavens.
Because the distance was not great, the people inside Kaliron could see those terrifying existences in the distant sky just by looking up.
“Praise the Radiant Goddess! But who are the others?”
Many people knelt on the spot.
The collective descent of the gods presented an aura so terrifying that no one could ignore it.
Among them, those who were more knowledgeable managed to identify some of the gods' identities.
“That is the Goddess of Fate, the Nature Goddess, the Star Goddess, and the Earth Goddess.”
“Why do some of those figures look so much like the beings from ancient legends? The Elf Goddess, the Sea God, the Sword God, and even the Elemental God of Magic.”
“Wait, are the gods... fighting?”
Suddenly, everyone was horrified.
They discovered that the Radiant Goddess was fighting an existence that appeared to be an evil god.
A simple collision between the two sides caused a boundless, terrifying aura to spread, turning the entire world into a chaotic mess as if the end of days were approaching.
Such a sight caused everyone's bodies to tremble uncontrollably.
It was too terrifying. All of this was far too terrifying.
Of course, the battle between the Radiant Goddess and the Death Sovereign would not truly bring destruction to the world, as some of the other deities took action. They restricted the spread of the battle's aftershocks, ensuring the safety of the main world.
“Can you explain what is going on?” the Goddess of Fate asked again, somewhat dissatisfied with the current situation.
To this, the Radiant Goddess provided an answer: “This old fool, as a deity, actually tried to sneakily attack my believer. He wanted to kill my believer, so of course, I cannot let Him go.”
Hearing the Radiant Goddess say this, the other gods could not help but show surprised expressions, looking toward the Death Sovereign in confusion.
For a dignified deity to strike at the believer of another god—was such a thing truly necessary?
A believer recognized by the Radiant Goddess was clearly someone of significant status.
Naturally, such an important believer could not be allowed to be targeted at will by other gods.
Having reached this point, the Death Sovereign understood that it would not be so easy to kill Olivia on its own.
Its gaze shifted slightly, and it prepared to speak about Olivia's situation.
It believed that it was not the only one who would wish to prevent more deities from emerging.
