The Ability of the Child of God

As all the changes settled, Olivia felt her body become significantly lighter.

The most striking change was her magic pool.

In her magic pool, which should have been filled with a vast amount of magic power, a new and marvelous energy was being born, possessing an authority higher than that of magic.

This energy was very similar to the power the Radiant Goddess had previously manifested through her.

Olivia understood that this was divine power.

Though she was still only a Destroyer, she had actually mastered divine power!

It was incredible, but since her path of transcendence was now that of the Child of God, it was not so strange that she could wield a trace of divine power.

The Radiant Goddess's voice slowly reached her: “There, from now on, you are a Child of God.

“Olivia, you should be clearly aware of the changes in your body, yes?

“You can already utilize divine power, and you can even accumulate more of it.

“When you are able to transform all your magic power into divine power, you will be able to transcend the transcendent and reach a brand-new level.

“That is not a Controller; it is another stage that reigns above the Controller rank.

“The so-called Child of God is simply a child who has not yet grown up.

“But as for what a Child of God becomes once they grow up, I believe I do not need to say more, do I?”

Only those who could advance to the rank of Destroyer through those simplified versions were qualified to step onto the true path of the Child of God.

If one could not reach the Destroyer rank with the simplified version, they would be unable to withstand the subsequent transformation, and their body would explode, resulting in death.

Therefore, the Radiant Goddess actually had no other choice; she could only choose Olivia.

Olivia remained silent.

“Well, your transformation is complete. Go now and familiarize yourself with your new power. By the way, you do not need to go back down. Stay here in the Upper Layer; the divine power here is much denser. I will inform Edith,” the Radiant Goddess said calmly.
