Chapter 307 · Volume 1

The Annihilation of the Bloody Sickle

Her body kept reforming only to be annihilated again and again; this was the peril Felicity currently faced.
Felicity understood that her situation had become extremely dangerous, yet she was utterly powerless to change it.
At this moment, Olivia alone was enough to instill a profound sense of horror in her, even without Rose lifting a finger.
Having integrated the Star Bead and completely mastered the Giant Spirit Form, Olivia's strength had ascended to an entirely new level.
Even though she was still an Evolver, her ability to effortlessly handle a Destroyer like Felicity was nothing short of astounding.
For Olivia, dealing with Felicity was now as simple as a cat playing with a mouse.
Unknowingly, she had already grown powerful to a point that defied imagination.
Amidst her internal reflections, Olivia crushed Felicity once again.
Each time she crushed Felicity, dense magic power gathered in her palms, grinding her down and ensuring that each subsequent reformation became slower and more difficult.
Finally, when Olivia crushed Felicity this time, the crimson blood scattered through the air and did not attempt to merge back together.
“Playing dead?”
Olivia couldn't help but smile at the sight. Could she really not know if Felicity was dead? In front of the Magic Mirror, who could hide the truth from her?
Olivia immediately extended her hand, stretching it out to seize all the falling blood. Then, her magic power boiled over, enveloping the blood as if it were being steamed and cooked.
In a short time, the blood began to boil and was forced to merge once more, taking the shape of Felicity.
At this moment, Felicity’s eyes were filled with nothing but sheer terror.
“Wait, stop! I surrender! I’m willing to serve you from now on! Just don’t do it again!” Faced with Olivia, Felicity couldn't help but beg for mercy.
Olivia, however, remained completely indifferent.
“What use is a Destroyer as weak as you to me?”
As Olivia spoke, her palms slammed together once more with a thunderous boom, completely annihilating Felicity before her eyes.
Yes, this time Felicity was truly annihilated, with no possibility of restoration.
This powerhouse who had once been famous throughout the main world, the leader of the Bloody Sickle, Felicity, had become a thing of the past forever.
Resolving such an opponent left Olivia feeling somewhat sentimental.
After all, the first transcendent incident she had encountered after arriving in this world was related to the Bloody Sickle.
It felt like it had happened only recently, yet now she had personally slain the leader of the Bloody Sickle.
After dealing with Felicity, Olivia also found some other spoils of war. One was a badge-shaped forbidden artifact that functioned as a storage space, which Olivia handed to Rose.
There were quite a few items inside the forbidden artifact as well, all of which Olivia gave to Rose.
Having obtained the Star Bead, Olivia was already very satisfied.
It was worth mentioning that she also found the method to enter the Silent Castle.
The Silent Castle was the alternate space of the Bloody Sickle—an extremely hidden place and one filled with sin.
Although the Bloody Sickle no longer had Felicity, there were still other vampires who could continue to plague the world.
Only by entering the Silent Castle and taking action could they completely wipe out the vampires of the Bloody Sickle.
However, this didn't require Olivia to act personally.
She asked Rose to wait for her outside while she returned to the church headquarters.
With the dragon disaster in the Holy Kelidos Empire resolved, Charles, in his capacity as a Cardinal, had already returned.
Olivia went directly to Charles and brought up the matters regarding the Bloody Sickle and the Silent Castle.
After listening to Olivia's report, even Charles wore a look of disbelief.
“You’re saying you happened to encounter Felicity, the leader of the Bloody Sickle, and with Rose’s help, you managed to defeat and kill this Destroyer?”
“That is exactly what happened.”
Olivia couldn't reveal the existence of the Magic Mirror, so she could only claim that her luck was good enough to happen upon Felicity.
This answer left Charles deep in thought.
Although he knew Olivia had displayed combat power no less than a Destroyer during the battles against the various dragons, killing Felicity was still shocking.
After all, those dragons lacked intelligence; they only knew how to fight with brute force and didn't understand the concept of retreating.
Felicity, however, possessed ample wisdom.
Once the situation was confirmed, the way Charles looked at Olivia became much more complex. “I understand the situation. Since you brought the entry method for the Silent Castle, we will take over and handle the rest from here.”
While the Silent Castle likely contained many good things, there were even more and better treasures waiting for Olivia in the main world. Naturally, she didn't want to waste time going there.
Before leaving, Olivia asked Charles for an update on the aftermath of the dragon incident.
Charles provided the response that had been agreed upon by everyone.
That was to simply ignore it.
Because the matter already involved gods. Since it concerned the divine, it was not for them to interfere.
“The Pope has already reported the relevant matters to the Goddess, and she has responded, telling us not to intervene in this matter.”
The Radiant Goddess had given a response?
Hearing this, Olivia’s gaze couldn't help but turn somewhat inscrutable.
She had heard the name of the Radiant Goddess many times since arriving in this world, but she had yet to actually see this being, even though she now held a significant position within the Radiant Light Church.
“By the way, in a while, the Goddess may summon the high-level members of our church to meet with her. You should be expected to attend as well, so prepare yourself.”
Charles dropped a piece of news that was no less than a bombshell.
Olivia’s eyes widened. “A summons from the Goddess? What is it for? Is it about the dragons?”
Charles nodded. “It is likely related to the dragons, as that is the only matter involving gods.
“The Goddess might have instructions for us, or there could be other purposes.
“It is not our place to speculate on the Goddess’s matters. We need only obey.”
Seeing this, Olivia could only nod. Her heart felt a mix of trepidation and anticipation.
