Naturally, what followed for Olivia was a wave of congratulations.
However, the group didn't spend too long on pleasantries before Bishop Charles stepped forward. "Olivia, congratulations on completing your advancement and becoming an Evolver. Next, follow me to meet the Pope. Every time a new Evolver is born within the church, they are granted an audience with the Pope."
The Pope?
Hearing this, Olivia's heart couldn't help but skip a beat.
Although she had spent a significant amount of time in the church and had risen from the rank of a novice nun to her current position, she had never actually seen the Pope.
As the highest-ranking individual in the Radiant Light Church, the Pope was also the person closest to the Goddess. Mysterious and powerful—those were the labels associated with him.
Most people's knowledge of the Pope was limited to the fact that he, too, had been a Protagonist of the Era in his youth.
"Follow me."
Charles made an inviting gesture and then turned to lead the way. Seeing this, Olivia could only follow.
They arrived at the teleportation array of the floating island and used it to travel to a floating island Olivia had never visited before.
This floating island wasn't massive, but it wasn't small either. Upon it stood a magnificently constructed cathedral radiating an extremely holy light. Upon arriving, one would inexplicably feel a sense of being on a pilgrimage.
Olivia followed Charles into the cathedral ahead. The first thing she saw inside was a towering statue of the Radiant Goddess.
Before this statue of the Goddess stood a figure, seemingly in the middle of prayer.
It was a person clad in white robes and wearing a golden crown. From the back, his features were not visible.
This was the Pope of the Radiant Light Church, Adam Douglas!
After bringing Olivia there, Charles signaled that he would take his leave and turned to exit the area.
Just as Charles left, Pope Adam Douglas turned around and looked toward Olivia.
Only then could Olivia see what this Pope looked like.
He was an elderly man with silver hair and a white beard. His face bore the marks left by the passage of time, making him look aged yet kind, shrouded in a holy glow.
Seeing the Pope's appearance, Olivia was still somewhat surprised.
All the high-level class rank transcendents she had met before appeared very young. She hadn't expected this Pope to present himself as an old man.
Had this Pope chosen not to reshape his appearance when he became an Evolver?
This question couldn't help but flash through Olivia's mind.
"Sister Olivia, I have finally met you. Even I have heard your name mentioned many times," Adam said with a smile.
Olivia quickly replied, "Good afternoon, Your Holiness. It is an honor to meet you."
Adam looked at Olivia with appreciative eyes and said, "Under the teachings of the Goddess, I have worked diligently to develop the church.
"In this life, I have only one goal: to see the church grow better and stronger.
"The emergence of outstanding talent proves that the development of the church is on the right track.
"Your appearance proves this even further.
"I am very gratified to have you in the church, Sister Olivia.
"Welcome to the ranks of high-level class rank transcendents."
In truth, Adam didn't have a specific reason to see Olivia; he simply wanted to see this remarkable junior and have a brief chat.
"This is all thanks to the church's cultivation. To have reached this point, I can only say I am fortunate to be a member of the church," Olivia said politely.
Adam laughed and said, "While the church certainly does its best to help every member of the clergy grow, reaching this step is still due to your own excellence.
"Today, you have become a high-level class rank transcendent and a candidate saint. But I feel it won't be long before we must grant you a title. What title do you think would suit you?"
A title was a unique honor bestowed upon transcendents within the church only after they became Destroyers.
A titled saint was a formal saint.
To this, Olivia humbly replied, "I have only just become an Evolver. To me, the rank of Destroyer is still quite distant. It's a bit too early to think about a title now."
"Actually, it's not that early. After all, your speed of advancement is the fastest since the church's founding, so I believe you will soon become a Destroyer," Adam said, appearing quite confident in Olivia.
Facing Adam, Olivia felt as though she were facing a kind elder. She spoke politely, not daring to appear overly ambitious, even though she also felt in her heart that becoming a Destroyer shouldn't take too long.
After all, she was truly using a cheat.
The two of them conversed in this somewhat formal yet polite atmosphere for quite a while before Olivia finally left the cathedral.
As she left, she couldn't help but think about what Adam had said. Did she really need to think about her title this early?
Speaking of titles, those on the nun path received a title upon becoming Destroyers.
Naturally, those on the other path also received their own titles when they became Cardinals.
Olivia thought of Charles and asked the magic mirror in her mind. She soon learned that Charles's title was War.
This Cardinal was also frequently referred to as the War Bishop.
No wonder Charles was usually the one to step forward whenever a Destroyer was needed for external affairs.
By the time Olivia returned to the original island, everyone was still waiting for her.
Seeing Olivia return, the group took her to a commercial island at the church headquarters. In a restaurant there, they had a good celebration for Olivia's advancement.
The celebration lasted for several hours.
Once the celebration ended, Olivia thought about the ability she currently needed to master: the Giant Spirit Form.
Once this ability was utilized, her body would become incredibly massive, which would likely burst her clothes. Therefore, she needed attire capable of adapting to such changes.
Such clothing did indeed exist within the church.
Olivia had asked the magic mirror and knew that with her status, she could go directly to claim such a garment, and could even take several sets.
Thus, Olivia went to a floating island responsible for logistics and quickly obtained the corresponding clothes. The style of these clothes was, of course, that of a nun habit.
Afterward, Olivia returned to the meditation room where she had previously completed her advancement.
