As for Rose's situation, all that was left to do was wait quietly.
After Olivia left that floating island, she went to another and requested a meditation room.
She planned to use the waiting time to properly improve her strength.
By this point, she had already mastered all the abilities of a Skywalker.
The passive abilities had been mastered naturally over time without requiring much effort from her.
As for the active abilities, she had mastered the final one, Angel Wings, before facing Dream.
She felt it was time for the next step.
Normally, even if a transcendent mastered all the abilities of their current class rank, they would still need to seek a spark of inspiration to successfully complete their advancement.
However, this process could be simplified for Olivia.
Because she possessed the Contract of the Gods.
Sitting in the meditation room, Olivia took out the Contract of the Gods.
She unhurriedly wrote lines of Sylvan Runes onto the contract.
Back when she was a Domainist, she had used the Contract of the Gods to form a contract with her own magic power, making them more compatible. This had allowed her to quickly achieve a spiritual elevation and complete her advancement.
Now, she was going to perform the same ritual again.
Compared to last time, her total magic power was greater and more refined. She needed to sign a contract with the additional magic power she had gained.
The process was not complicated. In a short amount of time, the contract was drafted.
When the contract took form, Olivia felt an indescribable sensation wash over her, a feeling of absolute comfort permeating her entire body.
In this state, a mysterious spark of inspiration naturally surfaced in her mind.
Can I really advance already?
Olivia was pleasantly surprised.
She hadn't been a Skywalker for very long, yet she had already reached the threshold of advancement. Was she truly ready to take the step toward becoming an Evolver?
As the first threshold for high-level class rank transcendents, the Evolver rank had held back countless people, remaining an unattainable dream for many.
But for Olivia, she didn't feel any barrier at all. She felt as if she had arrived before a door that had opened naturally; all she had to do was step inside.
Everything was going incredibly smoothly.
Olivia was filled with anticipation, feeling heartfelt joy at being able to reach this step so quickly.
She immediately stood up, left the meditation room, and found Charles to mention her upcoming advancement.
She needed the church to provide the corresponding materials. Advancement materials for becoming an Evolver were not easy to obtain, and it would be difficult for her to do so on her own.
However, given her contributions to the church, she believed they would be able to prepare everything she needed in a short amount of time once she asked.
When Charles learned that Olivia was preparing to advance to an Evolver, even the Cardinal was momentarily stunned.
“What? An Evolver? You're already ready for that step?” The shock Charles felt was genuine.
He knew Olivia's growth trajectory and was well aware that she hadn't been a Skywalker for long. How could she be ready to advance to an Evolver in the blink of an eye?
He couldn't help but ask, “Have you already felt the inspiration needed for advancement?”
Olivia nodded with great certainty. “Yes, I have. Now is the perfect time to advance.”
Hearing her say this, Charles was speechless.
He had to admit that when it came to direct improvement, Olivia's performance was simply monstrous.
Of course, this was not a bad thing for the church.
Charles then said to Olivia, “I understand the situation. I will have people prepare the advancement materials you need. Where do you plan to advance? I suggest you do it directly at the church headquarters. It will be safer and more convenient.”
“I also believe I should advance at the church headquarters. In that case, I'll go make some personal preparations first.”
“Go ahead and prepare. It will only take three days. By the time you finish your three days of preparation, the rest of the advancement materials will certainly be in place and sent to you.”
“Thank you, Bishop Charles.”
“There is no need to thank me. As members of the church, we are all under the Goddess's protection, which is why we can walk the path of transcendence more easily.”
“You are absolutely right. Praise the Goddess!”
Shortly after, Olivia returned to the meditation room she had requested.
Just like her previous five advancements, her sixth advancement on the Path of Asceticism required some advance preparation.
The method of preparation was even remarkably similar.
Olivia needed to replace all other food and drink with holy spring water for three days to cleanse her mind and body.
This was a preparation she had done for her previous five advancements.
Naturally, the sixth advancement required even more.
In the meditation room, Olivia took out several sticks of incense and lit them, and they began to emit a hazy fragrance.
This was Tranquil Herb incense, also used for cleansing the mind and body.
These two items were not particularly rare and were quite common within the church, so Olivia had brought them out now.
As for the remaining advancement materials, she could only wait for Charles to send them over.
Olivia stayed quietly in the meditation room, waiting for the three days to pass.
Three days was neither long nor short.
In the blink of an eye, the time had passed.
Olivia successfully completed her preparations and walked toward the door of the meditation room.
Not long ago, she had heard movement outside, and a voice had informed her that the materials she needed had been delivered.
When Olivia opened the door, she saw Sybil.
“Sister Sybil, what are you doing here?” Olivia asked, startled.
“I'm here to deliver your advancement materials, of course,” Sybil said, a peculiar expression crossing her face.
When she had heard that Olivia was already preparing to advance to an Evolver, she had also been shocked. She never imagined Olivia's growth could be this terrifyingly fast.
Even when the Pope was young, his advancement speed hadn't been this frightening.
However, it wasn't a bad thing.
Having watched Olivia grow with her own eyes, Sybil felt a complex mix of emotions, though she was mostly happy for her.
