The blue sky, white clouds, and the whistling currents gave Olivia a sensation she had never experienced before.
The magic particles within her body flowed in a specific pattern, gathering behind her back and gradually undergoing a subtle transformation.
After what felt like an eternity, yet also as if only a moment had passed, Olivia felt the magic particles within her body begin to boil.
These boiling magic particles quickly seeped into Olivia's skin and flesh, completing a restructuring in a truly marvelous state.
In the next instant, a brilliant light erupted from behind Olivia, followed by the appearance of a pair of white wings composed entirely of concentrated light.
The moment these wings appeared, Olivia's flight speed suddenly skyrocketed, leaving a trail of afterimages in the sky.
The excessive speed did not cause her to feel any intense wind, for as the wings vibrated, a special force field spread out around her.
This force field caused the oncoming wind to part automatically, ensuring that no matter how fast she flew, the experience would be perfectly comfortable.
It's done!
Now that she had mastered Angel Wings, Olivia knew she could proceed with the next step of her plan.
While she could have moved forward without Angel Wings, having them significantly increased her chances of success.
Olivia came to a halt in mid-air. After communicating a few more details with the magic mirror in her heart, she went to apply for a forbidden artifact.
The forbidden artifact she requested was, naturally, Eternal Dream.
Following the capture of Sweet Dream and Nightmare, this forbidden artifact had been returned to the church headquarters.
But to deal with Dream, Olivia needed to requisition it once again.
The application process went smoothly. She didn't even need to provide a reason; simply stating she needed to use Eternal Dream was enough to secure the artifact.
Once Eternal Dream was in her hands, Olivia chose to exit the church headquarters.
...
Within the God's Ruins.
Dream remained persistently focused on a specific location, her body held in a state of tension for a long time.
At a certain moment, she saw a figure suddenly appear in that area.
The instant the figure appeared, Dream activated the pre-placed dream seeds without hesitation, quickly linking them together to manifest a massive dreamscape that covered the entire zone.
She wanted Olivia to return to the God's Ruins without even realizing she had entered a dream, leading her toward destruction step by step.
To her surprise, the moment Olivia appeared, a pair of wings made of light unfurled from her back. She shot forward at an incredible speed, reaching a great distance in the blink of an eye.
The dream constructed by the dream seeds had only just formed when the target had already surged out of its range.
This was a development Dream had not anticipated in the slightest. A normal person undergoing a spatial transition shouldn't have such a rapid reaction time—unless they already knew someone was waiting for them.
Thoughts flashed through Dream's mind, making her feel a brief surge of tension.
However, she quickly reminded herself that she had already checked the surroundings and there was no one else present, which allowed her to relax again.
But what was with Olivia? Why did she start distancing herself the moment she emerged?
Though she didn't understand why, Dream's body had already given chase.
As an Evolver, she possessed exceptional physical attributes and was certainly not inferior to anyone in terms of flight.
In a short time, Dream closed in on Olivia and quickly locked onto her. She then unleashed her ability, intending to forcibly drag Olivia into a dream.
At that moment, Olivia felt illusions rising before her eyes as layers upon layers of dreamscapes overlapped, and a powerful sense of drowsiness flooded her mind.
However, all of this was expected.
It was enough as long as she left the area where the dream seeds had been planted.
Dream's habit of using dream seeds to trap enemies in a specific area was a common tactic of hers, which the magic mirror had learned of and shared with Olivia in advance.
Olivia had chosen to master Angel Wings first specifically so she could escape that area at maximum speed.
While she could have used King's Domain to teleport, the time it took for the domain to cover an area would have been enough for the dream seeds to construct an illusory zone and affect her. In this situation, Angel Wings were far more effective.
As for Eternal Dream, it was better suited for use once she was clear of the dream seed zone.
Since using Eternal Dream also required a small amount of time, using it immediately upon returning to the God's Ruins might have allowed Dream's dream seeds to influence her first. It was much safer to use it after gaining some distance.
Everything was going according to Olivia's plan.
In this moment, Olivia used Eternal Dream without hesitation, causing a mysterious ripple to spread outward.
In that instant, it felt as though two worlds had overlapped. The two worlds appeared identical yet were not quite the same; the overlap created a subtle sense of dissonance.
Dream was the first to notice something was wrong, as the dream attack she was channeling suddenly vanished. She was now unable to manifest any more dreams.
Dream's pupils constricted instantly at this development.
“Could this be the legendary Eternal Dream? You can actually use this forbidden artifact safely?”
In truth, Dream did not know how Sweet Dream and Nightmare had been captured by the church. With the church's resources, there were many ways to capture them, so the news that Eternal Dream had been used once had not been leaked.
Only now did Dream realize that Olivia could use Eternal Dream, which was the ultimate counter to a Dreamwalker.
For a moment, a chill of horror rose in Dream's heart, but the feeling left as quickly as it had arrived.
“Very well, you are indeed extraordinary. If you were an Evolver like me, I would basically be at your mercy in this situation. But fortunately, you are still just a Skywalker.”
Once she calmed down, Dream showed no intention of retreating. She continued her charge toward Olivia, a magnificent sword inlaid with seven-colored gemstones appearing in her hand.
Olivia's Angel Wings vibrated as she, too, charged toward Dream.
