Along the rest of the way, Olivia encountered one forbidden artifact after another.
She handled every one they came across; as long as it wasn't a destruction-grade artifact, she could suppress it with her left eye.
Gradually, they finally arrived at the location of the Eternal Dream.
A scene like a heavenly paradise appeared in the area ahead. It was not a sight that should exist in reality, but rather one born of the imagination.
"This is it," Charles said to Olivia, coming to a halt mid-air. "As you can see, this is the area where the Eternal Dream resides.
"It automatically pulls a vast area into its illusion—or rather, its dream—making it impossible for people to extricate themselves.
"The dream before us looks very peaceful, but if someone without sufficient strength enters, they will forget they are in a dream. They will be assimilated into it, coming under the control of the Eternal Dream forever."
Charles told Olivia that, under normal circumstances, anyone who wasn't a high-level class rank transcendent shouldn't step into the Eternal Dream, as it would be extremely dangerous.
"I understand."
Olivia nodded in understanding.
Charles was only telling her the information about the Eternal Dream; he wasn't saying she couldn't approach. After all, she was completely different from other transcendents of the same class rank.
Olivia's left eye still glowed with a crimson hue. She slowly approached through the void, fearlessly entering the heavenly landscape.
As she set foot within the bounds of this paradise, the light in her left eye immediately brightened, and an invisible wave rippled outward.
This caused a series of faint tremors to pulse through the heavenly realm. The entire world seemed to ripple like water, shaking incessantly.
Finally, the heavenly scene began to blur and fade until it vanished without a trace, revealing the landscape as it truly was.
The original scenery looked exceptionally desolate, like a vast desert where yellow sand stretched across a great expanse.
In the center of this desert sat a seemingly ordinary pillow.
Olivia descended and picked up the pillow.
This was the Eternal Dream.
Seeing this, Charles couldn't help but sigh in admiration. "With Olivia here, dealing with these forbidden artifacts will become much easier in the future."
Although he had heard many rumors about Olivia being able to suppress forbidden artifacts, seeing her suppress them one by one with his own eyes along this journey still left him in awe.
Such a person had never appeared since the founding of the Radiant Light Church.
Of course, he also knew that Olivia wasn't the only special one; there was also Rose.
Or rather, Rose was the most important factor; unfortunately, the Church could not currently obtain any useful information from her.
With Olivia having retrieved the Eternal Dream, the group turned and left.
After returning to the floating island, Charles departed. He wasn't needed for the events unfolding in Kaliron.
Ivy and Olivia returned to Kaliron together.
"From here on, the use of the forbidden artifact will be up to you. Leave the rest to the others,"
Ivy said to Olivia.
Olivia nodded.
They did not act immediately. Instead, Ivy made a series of arrangements to ensure every aspect was considered before they headed outside Kaliron.
By now, Olivia already knew exactly how to use the Eternal Dream.
She patted the pillow-shaped forbidden artifact, immediately causing a layer of invisible dream to spread out, rapidly covering a vast area outside Kaliron.
A dream was thus created.
She controlled the imagery of the dream entirely, overlapping it with reality so that those within could not tell if they had entered a dream world.
Of course, the Dreamwalkers of Dreamland Paradise would certainly be able to tell, given how familiar they were with dreams.
...
At that moment, Sweet Dream was somewhere outside Kaliron.
She had never been too far from Kaliron, but she was difficult for the Church to catch because her mastery of dreams was truly so skillful. Combined with her being an Evolver herself, no one could really do anything to her.
She moved back and forth between reality and dreams, shifting between the physical and the ethereal, making her naturally elusive.
But in a sudden instant, Sweet Dream noticed something was wrong.
The surrounding woods were still the same woods, but her transcendent intuition told her that she had seemingly entered a dream.
What was happening?
As Sweet Dream's heart raced, she immediately tried to traverse into a dream of her own making, shifting from the physical to the ethereal to escape all pursuit.
Normally, even if she fell into a deceptive dream, she could continue to dream within that dream, hiding herself in a dream-within-a-dream.
But when Sweet Dream actually attempted this, she was horrified to find that she could no longer create a dream.
It wasn't that her ability had vanished; she found that the entire world was rejecting her dreams, causing them to dissipate as soon as they appeared.
"Could this be that legendary forbidden artifact, the Eternal Dream?"
Sweet Dream almost instinctively thought of that artifact.
As a powerful Dreamwalker who dealt with dreams every day, she naturally had a deeper understanding of dream-related forbidden artifacts.
She also knew the Eternal Dream was in the hands of the Radiant Light Church, though they had always found it difficult to utilize.
But the situation she faced now forced Sweet Dream to consider this possibility.
When she could no longer shift from the physical to the ethereal within the Eternal Dream, she would be left completely exposed to everyone's eyes, without a shred of cover.
This situation caused a wave of intense worry to surge within Sweet Dream's heart.
She didn't know why the Radiant Light Church was suddenly able to use the Eternal Dream, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that they certainly had a reason for doing so—and that reason was undoubtedly related to Dreamland Paradise.
The Church was starting its counterattack.
Almost without thinking, Sweet Dream turned and fled toward the distance, wanting to get away from this area first.
"I hope the others notice something's wrong and leave soon, or else we're in big trouble."
The people of Dreamland Paradise had their own method of long-distance communication, which relied on dreams.
But with the deployment of the Eternal Dream, such methods were naturally rendered useless. For now, Sweet Dream could only look out for herself.
