Although Kaliron was currently in a period of many troubles, Guinevere's departure wouldn't affect much. After all, the church possessed immense power and wasn't short of a single person like Guinevere.
Most importantly, the church subsequently issued a public explanation regarding the so-called secret of eternity.
The church sent many people to appear throughout Kaliron to address the matter of the secret of immortality, claiming it was a frame-up by the now-defunct heretical organization, the Rose Legion, and that they did not possess any secret of immortality.
The church's widespread explanations caused a certain stir in Kaliron.
The reason Kaliron was so lively now was that everyone had come for the secret of immortality.
But if the secret of immortality didn't exist at all, then what were they all doing here?
However, were the church's words truly credible?
People did not immediately believe the church's claims; instead, they remained in a state of skepticism. For a time, they didn't know what to do, as they had no way to forcibly enter the church to investigate the matter.
But regardless, the fact that the Radiant Light Church provided an explanation allowed the situation in Kaliron to temporarily stabilize.
However, the good times did not last long.
Just as the church's explanation was stabilizing Kaliron, a sudden piece of news quickly shattered that stability.
Someone from Dreamland Paradise suddenly came forward to speak, asserting that the church absolutely possessed the secret of immortality because the secret had originally been in their possession, only to be stolen by the church later.
To prove this, the people of Dreamland Paradise began providing various pieces of evidence outside of Kaliron.
In an instant, countless people flocked to the outskirts of Kaliron, gathering to hear the people from Dreamland Paradise prove their claims.
The church naturally couldn't turn a blind eye to this, and many of their people rushed over, leading to several conflicts between the two sides.
But this didn't stop Dreamland Paradise from revealing the information they knew. After all, their members hadn't appeared in their true forms; they were using puppets to represent them, so it didn't matter if they were destroyed by the church.
Consequently, before long, the information regarding Rose was no longer a secret.
Olivia couldn't ignore this matter either, as her relationship with Rose was quite close.
Upon discovering that Dreamland Paradise was exposing Rose's information, she also began to take action, searching everywhere for members of Dreamland Paradise to settle the score.
This led her to step outside of Kaliron.
Outside Kaliron were rolling mountain ranges and lush green forests; it could be said that except for the ocean to the east, the city was surrounded by mountains on the other three sides.
Many people moved back and forth, exchanging the information they had previously acquired.
Olivia, surrounded by a group of clergy, also arrived at the scene, causing quite a stir.
"Look, that's Olivia Melianne, the Radiant Light Church's Protagonist of the Era."
"I never thought I'd be able to see this Protagonist of the Era from such a close distance. She's much more beautiful than I imagined."
"She looks so young. Is she already a Skywalker at such a young age? What on earth does she use for meditation?"
"As expected of a Protagonist of the Era, her aura feels completely different."
"..."
Many people whispered and discussed, their gazes shifting toward Olivia from time to time.
Olivia didn't pay much attention to them; she was focused on searching for the people from Dreamland Paradise.
Unfortunately, the magic mirror's range of control was limited to either Kaliron or alternate spaces. It lacked understanding of the outside world, so she currently had no way to find the Dreamland Paradise members through the simplest method.
Olivia could only use the most primitive way, ordering the church clergy to mobilize and gather information from all sides.
Under these circumstances, she quickly received news of a Dreamland Paradise puppet appearing in the distance and immediately hurried over.
In a valley, Olivia saw quite a few puppets listening to a young girl at the front recount certain events.
The girl's limbs were stiff, with obvious joint marks; she was clearly not a real person but a puppet.
However, this puppet was speaking words of critical importance.
"The answer is exactly as I said. Rose came from the God's Ruins, and you all know exactly what kind of place the God's Ruins is, don't you?
"Of course, we don't know Rose's more distant origins. We don't know if she was originally from our world and merely gained something in the God's Ruins, or if she doesn't belong to our world at all.
"Of course, none of that is important anymore. What matters is that she must possess the secret of immortality and has enough research to achieve true immortality.
"But now, Rose is under the church's control. Even if the church hasn't researched immortality yet, as long as they hold Rose, it's almost a certainty that they will master the secret of immortality.
"You must understand that immortality is a trait belonging to the gods themselves. When the gods are unwilling to share immortality, we can only find our own immortality in our own way.
"And now, a rare opportunity has appeared before our eyes. How can we afford to miss it?"
Olivia heard many key terms as soon as she arrived, and her brow instantly furrowed.
She decisively flew over, appearing beside the female puppet, and with a snap, she twisted the puppet's neck.
This scene took everyone present by surprise.
Olivia's blonde hair fluttered as her gaze swept over the crowd. She spoke unhurriedly, "The church does not possess any information on immortality, nor does Rose. There is no need to listen to these people's deceptions."
After leaving those words, Olivia turned and left.
However, as she left, her heart couldn't help but waver slightly.
The God's Ruins?
The people from Dreamland Paradise said Rose came from the God's Ruins—was this true or false?
Olivia had almost never heard of this location in the past, but asking the magic mirror in her mind now allowed her to understand some information about the God's Ruins.
Legend has it that in the distant past, the gods lived together in the Divine Realm. The Divine Realm was also very close to the current world, so gods often descended to the world to display miracles.
That was an era where gods and believers coexisted.
But later, something unknown happened between the gods, and a terrible war broke out.
Under the God War, all living things suffered, and the vast Divine Realm was shattered on the spot, turning into an irreparable ruin from then on.
As the relationship between the gods stabilized again later, they created a brand-new Divine Realm and moved there, while the original Divine Realm became what is now known as the Ruins of the Gods.
