Following Atticus's order, the people of the Earth Church immediately went to the Radiant Light Church to issue another challenge.
Before long, the negotiator returned.
"Lord Atticus, Olivia from the Radiant Light Church has agreed to the challenge."
"She agreed?"
This answer actually surprised Atticus.
He had originally thought Olivia would refuse. After all, in his view, since he had defeated even Guinevere, Olivia was likely inferior to her. Why would she accept?
Previously, Olivia hadn't accepted any challenges. What sense did it make for her to accept now, right after Guinevere's defeat?
Yet, Olivia had accepted.
This didn't make Atticus overly happy; instead, he fell into deep thought.
Meanwhile, Olivia was floating outside the entrance of the Morning Light Cathedral.
She had noticed when Atticus sent someone to challenge her and had descended of her own accord to accept.
"Olivia, why did you agree?"
Inside the Morning Light Cathedral, Sybil hurried out immediately after hearing the news.
She had intended to decline the challenge on Olivia's behalf, only to hear upon arrival that Olivia had already accepted.
This left her somewhat dazed.
Hadn't she and Guinevere already told Olivia about Atticus's power and warned her not to accept the challenge lightly?
Why had Olivia agreed in the blink of an eye?
Olivia turned to look at Sybil and said with a slight smile.
"You told me before not to accept unless I was certain. Well, I am certain, so I accepted."
Olivia spread her hands.
Seeing this, Sybil didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
She didn't know where Olivia's confidence to face Atticus came from, but since the battle was already accepted, what else could she say?
She could only sigh and say, "Since you've already accepted, there's nothing more I can say. You'll just have to be careful."
Olivia nodded, indicating she understood.
It was only then she realized that although she had accepted Atticus's challenge, they hadn't set a time.
Olivia certainly wasn't in a hurry. She immediately flew into the sky, disappearing into the clouds once more to continue her training.
Atticus was still pondering Olivia's intentions.
Why did that woman dare to accept? Was she really stronger than Guinevere?
He had already experienced Guinevere's strength. One could say that with even the slightest lapse in caution, he might have lost.
If Olivia were truly stronger than Guinevere, she would indeed be difficult to deal with.
But after much thought, Atticus felt this possibility was unlikely.
After all, Olivia hadn't been a Skywalker for very long. She likely hadn't even mastered the abilities of the Skywalker class rank yet, so how could she be stronger?
"I fought a battle with Guinevere; does she think I'm injured and accepted immediately to try and defeat me while I'm weakened?"
Atticus immediately reached this conclusion.
The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed. Although injuries could be healed quickly in this transcendent world, it didn't mean one could return to their peak state instantly.
Currently, Atticus only appeared to be uninjured on the surface, but his consumed magic power wouldn't recover so quickly.
It required time; it was a process.
Having figured this out, Atticus gave instructions to his subordinates. "Go to the Radiant Light Church and tell Olivia and their people that the battle will be set for three days from now."
"Also, send people throughout Kaliron to publicize our affair. Make sure everyone knows that Olivia and I will have our duel in three days."
He was afraid Olivia might back out because the duel was scheduled three days later, so he wanted to make the event public.
As Atticus's orders were carried out, the people of the Earth Church and even the entire Varian Empire immediately went into action.
Consequently, before long, news of the challenge was once again the talk of the town in Kaliron.
Atticus was a powerhouse who had recently defeated another Protagonist of the Era, and Olivia also had a record of defeating one.
When two such individuals were about to duel, the commotion caused was undoubtedly massive.
Transcendents from various factions immediately turned their attention to the matter.
Olivia's expression didn't change when she learned the challenge was set for three days later.
For her, the longer things were delayed, the more advantageous it was.
She continued to bathe in the stimulation of the sea of clouds and lightning, constantly gaining insights in the process.
One day, two days...
Time passed quickly.
While rumors about her were spreading like wildfire, she herself was quietly comprehending her abilities.
In the blink of an eye, three days had passed.
On the morning three days later.
The sea of clouds rolled, and thunder rumbled.
Olivia floated in the air. As she breathed, lightning flashed in her hands.
Even though it had only been three days, she felt a massive improvement, leaving her feeling completely refreshed.
"Atticus, oh Atticus, giving me three extra days will only make things more painful for you."
Olivia was very satisfied with her progress over these three days.
She then looked down at the ground below.
On the square outside the Morning Light Cathedral, countless people were already standing there, all hoping to watch the challenge.
The challenge had only specified a time, not a location, so those who wanted to witness the battle could only head toward the cathedral.
In fact, for transcendents of the Skywalker level, battles often took place in the sky, so they could be viewed from almost anywhere in Kaliron.
As Olivia looked down, she saw a carriage belonging to the Earth Church driving unhurriedly down the street.
The carriage curtain had been pulled back, revealing a person lying lazily inside—it was Atticus.
When Atticus's figure appeared, the crowd immediately erupted in excitement.
Amidst the boisterous noise, Atticus looked up slightly toward the sky.
Their gazes collided in mid-air, and in an instant, the atmosphere seemed to freeze.
Then, Atticus flew out of the carriage and unhurriedly ascended toward the high altitude, a faint smile on his lips.
