The Skywalker's Abilities

Olivia had successfully advanced.

Subsequently, she soared into the air, flying toward the top of the Never-Falling Abyss.

This Never-Falling Abyss was such that one would never reach the bottom when falling, but one could quickly fly out when heading upward.

After flying out of the abyss, Olivia passed through the area shrouded in the divine light mist and arrived at the foot of the mountain.

Sybil, Ivy, and Clara—the three Evolvers—were waiting there.

Seeing Olivia fly out, they understood that the result had been decided.

"Congratulations, Olivia. From this day forward, you are a Skywalker of the church," Sybil said with a smile.

"I suspect it won't be long before you can become an Evolver as well." Ivy looked at Olivia, her gaze filled with immense pride.

"Congratulations! As a Skywalker, you've become much stronger once again." Clara spoke with some emotion.

Facing the three of them, Olivia naturally expressed her gratitude repeatedly, never becoming arrogant toward others because of her increased strength.

After a brief exchange, the group left the area.

During their departure, the three also spoke with Olivia about the abilities an Ascetic could master at the Skywalker class rank.

As high-ranking figures within the church, they had some understanding of the abilities of Arbiters, Priests, and Ascetics alike.

Therefore, regardless of whether they were Ascetics themselves, they could provide Olivia with quite useful information.

Although Olivia could obtain all the abilities of the Ascetic transcendent path from the magic mirror, she still listened intently to the explanations of the three women.

The abilities possessed by the Ascetic path at the Skywalker class rank were quite impressive.

Among them, two abilities were particularly prominent.

One ability was called Limb Extension, which allowed one's arms to extend like ropes, wrapping around a tree multiple times.

To put it simply, one could sit at home while their hand stretched out, turned a few corners, arrived at a shop on the street to buy something, and then retracted.

Another ability was called Giant Spirit Hand. This ability allowed for the partial giantification of one's limbs. Of course, it could not be applied to any part of the body; currently, it could only act upon the hands and feet.

However, it was still a very interesting ability. When combined with Limb Extension, it often produced unexpected results.

Back when an Ascetic was still a Transcender, they could make their body smaller, but they could only shrink and not grow larger.

Only after becoming a Skywalker could they perform partial enlargement.

This ability was also a prerequisite for another ability in the future.

In addition to Limb Extension and Giant Spirit Hand, an Ascetic at the Skywalker class rank also possessed a passive ability called Strength Enhancement.

An Ascetic at this rank did not need to deliberately train their strength; it would naturally increase until it reached an extremely terrifying level.

Of course, if one was willing to train, they could accelerate this process.

Finally, Ascetics also possessed a flight spell.

Not every transcendent of every path possessed a flight spell upon becoming a Skywalker.

Although flight was an instinct for transcendents of the Skywalker rank, the church had given more attention to flight capabilities when creating the Ascetic path, thus adding a flight spell to it.

This flight spell was called Angel Wings, which could condense magic power behind one's back to form a pair of invisible wings, allowing one to fly even faster.

Angel Wings could only be sensed by the user and could not be seen with the naked eye—at least, that was the case during the Skywalker stage.

Only when the condensation of the Angel Wings reached a certain intensity would it be possible for the wings to manifest physically.

And once that stage was reached, one's flight spell would become even swifter and more astonishing.

In short, what an Ascetic could master at the Skywalker rank were three active abilities and one passive ability.

Sybil and the others slowly instructed Olivia on what to do to master the three active abilities as quickly as possible. They also discussed how to exercise her body to more rapidly bring out the effects of the Strength Enhancement passive.

Before long, they returned to the Morning Light Cathedral in Kaliron.

After their return, Olivia spoke with the three for a while longer before returning to her home at 88 Annus Street.

As soon as she reached home, she had the magic mirror provide her with a plan to master her abilities as quickly as possible.

Limb Extension, Giant Spirit Hand, Angel Wings, and Strength Enhancement.

Different abilities had different methods of improvement.

But without a doubt, the methods provided by the magic mirror would be the most effective.

However, after looking at the methods provided by the magic mirror, Olivia, who had just returned home, had to step out again.

No, to be more precise, she had to fly out.

Because the improvement methods provided by the magic mirror actually had to be completed in the sky.

Olivia thus flew high into the air.

Today's Kaliron could be described as sunny and beautiful, with birds singing and flowers fragrant. However, for Olivia to improve herself, she needed a different kind of weather.

She brought out King's Domain and began to take control of this area, then started changing the weather.

She changed the originally clear weather into a thunderstorm.

After only a short time, the sky grew dark. Dense clouds gathered, and clusters of electric sparks flickered continuously at the edges of the cloud layers.

This sudden change startled many residents of Kaliron. They did not know how the weather could shift so rapidly; such a speed of transformation was far from natural and clearly involved transcendence.

People within the church immediately observed the sky, but after seeing Olivia's figure, they retracted their gazes.

Since the weather change was caused by Olivia, it did not matter what her purpose was for changing it.

After all, that was Olivia.

Having become a Skywalker, Olivia's position in the church was now that of a crowned nun. If placed in any cathedral outside of Kaliron, she could serve as the highest official in charge.

With such a status, combined with being a Protagonist of the Era, her identity and standing within the church were already extremely extraordinary; she could be called a high-level figure.

As a high-level figure, she was naturally free to do whatever she wished.

Once the thunderclouds appeared, Olivia plunged headlong into them.

The method provided by the magic mirror was to enter the sea of thunder and bathe in the lightning to temper her body.

Using this method, she could simultaneously temper Limb Extension, Giant Spirit Hand, and Strength Enhancement. It could be said to be very efficient.
