The sharp golden arrow flashed past, arriving instantly before Olivia.
In response, Olivia familiarly employed King's Domain and flashed to the side.
But the moment she flashed, the golden arrow actually changed direction and continued its pursuit.
It was clearly a homing arrow that would never stop until it struck its target.
Realizing this, Olivia showed little surprise. After all, she had already learned this outcome through her magic mirror.
She used King's Domain to teleport repeatedly, keeping the golden arrow in a constant chase that it could never quite win.
Meanwhile, she didn't stop her assault. The soil in the passage continued to press toward Everett, quickly burying the Hunter within.
Yet in the blink of an eye, the compacted soil was torn apart with a boom as another golden arrow shot out from within.
Everett held his longbow, using golden arrows to clear a path as he fired one after another.
The surrounding earth couldn't truly crush him; he forced it all aside.
Furthermore, every one of these golden arrows possessed homing capabilities. After being fired, they swarmed Olivia in a rapid assault.
Even though Olivia dodged continuously, her room for maneuver grew increasingly sparse as the number of golden arrows multiplied.
But not a hint of panic appeared on Olivia's face. She activated the teleportation function of King's Domain once more, but instead of moving within the underground passage, she teleported directly outside.
King's Domain sealed off the ruined park, making it difficult for others to breach the barrier, but no such restriction existed for Olivia, the artifact's wielder.
She teleported straight out of the ruined park, arriving at a distant street in the Main District.
Immediately after, she teleported back into the underground passage.
With that round trip, she found that the golden arrows chasing her had all dissipated, turning into specks of golden light that scattered across the ground.
"What's going on?" Everett's eyes widened at the sight, completely unable to comprehend it.
In that brief moment, all of his golden arrows had lost their target, causing them to abruptly vanish.
These arrows required a target to maintain their form; once the target vanished, they naturally lost their purpose.
But why would the golden arrows lose their target?
Everett couldn't figure it out, but Olivia knew exactly why.
The maximum range of the golden arrows wasn't small; as long as the target remained within that range, the arrows would overcome any obstacle to reach them, regardless of distance.
However, if the target moved far enough away to leave that range, the golden arrows would dissipate upon losing their mark.
The teleportation range of King's Domain was large enough to cover an entire district. Olivia had just teleported to a distant location, exiting the arrows' attack range and neutralizing the assault through a unique method no one else could replicate.
Upon her return, Olivia made a movement, and elemental power surged once more, transforming into streaks of blinding lightning that struck toward Everett.
Everett drew his bow again, quickly firing several golden arrows that shattered the incoming lightning and continued toward Olivia with unabated momentum.
Olivia employed the same tactic, flashing to a distant location once more to force the golden arrows to lose their target and dissipate.
Afterward, she returned to the underground passage.
The same scene repeated, yet Everett still couldn't understand how Olivia was doing it.
He had never found a Domainist opponent so troublesome; the person before him truly made him feel powerless to act.
But he could only continue his assault, constantly probing with various methods to determine if his opponent had any weaknesses.
Probing was his only option.
Olivia, on the other hand, grew increasingly composed. Even though this was her first time facing a Skywalker, she didn't find it that difficult.
She continued to utilize the teleportation of King's Domain, appearing beside Everett from time to time to slash at him with Cross Grace, while various elemental attacks conjured by Elemental Praise spread from every angle.
The battle between the two grew increasingly intense.
This kind of combat was extremely dangerous, where a single slip-up could lead to injury—at least for Everett.
In fact, throughout the continuous fighting, Everett inevitably had moments of oversight, and new wounds appeared on his body from time to time.
But Olivia faced no such issues. Even though the battle looked exceptionally fierce and fraught with danger, not a single wound had appeared on her.
This nun's foreknowledge is too ridiculous. I'm being forced into far too passive a position... Why can she use those forbidden artifacts for so long?
Various questions continued to pop up in Everett's mind.
In his view, Olivia's foreknowledge, her teleportation, and even her elemental abilities all stemmed from forbidden artifacts.
But the use of forbidden artifacts shouldn't be limitless.
Generally speaking, even using a single forbidden artifact carried certain risks; the longer the usage, the greater the risk—not to mention using multiple ones simultaneously.
Thus, Everett was waiting for a turning point, waiting for the forbidden artifacts on Olivia to trigger a backlash. Once that happened, he could naturally turn the situation around.
But where was the backlash? Why hadn't it come yet?
For Everett, this fight was incredibly stifling.
After all, how could a normal transcendent carry a whole pile of forbidden artifacts?
Even a Skywalker like him couldn't possibly carry a hoard of forbidden artifacts; it just wasn't realistic.
It wasn't that he lacked forbidden artifacts entirely, but those he carried were only sealed-grade, which were useless in a battle of this level.
The situation was becoming increasingly dire.
Yet Everett remained convinced that Olivia would eventually suffer a backlash, so he could only persevere and wait for that moment to arrive.
After the two had clashed for a good while longer, suddenly, an inexplicable aura of revival began to spread from Olivia's body.
