This was excellent news.
Once the Church obtained the necessary information from Leopold, they could naturally take full action against the Frederick family.
The Rose Legion would finally meet its total destruction.
For a moment, Olivia felt a bit dazed.
Since her transmigration, she had faced many troubles due to her identity and had always wanted to resolve these inherent issues.
And at this moment, was this inherent problem finally coming to an end?
She felt as if her entire being was relaxing.
She wondered what she should do and what kind of life she should lead once the threat from the Rose Legion was gone.
Whatever kind of life it was, it seemed quite good. As a nun in the Church—and a very promising one at that—there were many things she could do.
The world was vast; she didn't have to stay in Kaliron forever. She could travel around and enjoy the scenery of various places.
She could paint her life with more vibrant colors.
But that was for later.
Olivia brought her focus back and continued to study her abilities at home.
She had already gained some insights into miniaturization, an ability of the Ascetic path, so she specifically turned her attention to mastering it now.
This ability was related to Body Control, which an Ascetic possesses upon becoming a Pilgrim.
The Body Control ability allowed an Ascetic to have superior control over their own body, such as managing their physique to always stay in peak condition. This was why every Ascetic had an excellent build.
Miniaturization was an extension of this ability, though the scope of the extension was quite large, allowing one to directly and rapidly shrink their body.
But why shrinking instead of growing?
Olivia had long been pondering this question and had obtained the answer through the magic mirror.
In the words of the magic mirror, shrinking was a compression of oneself, whereas growing required creating something from nothing, which was much more difficult.
In the future, an Ascetic could achieve body enlargement, but at the current Transcender rank, they could only manage to shrink.
However, compressing oneself was no easy feat.
Although there were some gaps within the human body, shrinking to a certain degree was fine, but shrinking to the size of a fist was truly transcendent.
This required an exceptionally skillful application of one's own abilities, involving more than just one or two complexities.
Fortunately, after some time, Olivia had gained many insights. Especially after learning the Radiant Light Meditation Method, she could clearly perceive the presence of magic particles, making her mastery of her abilities much more proficient.
In her room at home, Olivia contemplated the miniaturization ability. Silently, her body shrank just a little bit, to the point where her clothes became slightly oversized.
She closed her eyes and sensed her own body carefully, ignoring the current change.
After another while, her body shrank a little bit more.
This was a reduction in physical size, not age, so Olivia's appearance remained the same.
However, her clothes remained unchanged, making them even looser.
A bit later, Olivia herself didn't change, but her clothes began to shrink, becoming snug against her body.
Miniaturization naturally required one's attire to change along with the body, and even the forbidden artifacts in hand had to follow suit. It was impossible for only the person to shrink while external objects remained their original size.
She continued to control herself and her clothing, constantly attempting the transformation.
As time passed, her body changed again and again.
By the time the twilight glow spilled through the window and filled the room, she had shrunk to the size of a fist.
Only then did Olivia open her eyes.
Looking at the enormous room and the various sights outside the window, she felt as if she had entered a land of giants. Everything she faced had become exceptionally massive.
Of course, those things hadn't actually grown; it was simply that she had become smaller, leading to a distinct difference in her sensory perception.
"I finally succeeded."
The miniature Olivia stood on the bed, looking at the darkening scenery outside the window, her face filled with heartfelt joy.
With a thought, she restored herself to her original size. With another thought, she began to shrink again.
She shifted back and forth several times. The process was smooth and fluid, without a hint of resistance.
At this point, Olivia had mastered all the abilities of the Transcender rank.
Reaching this stage, she couldn't help but begin to think about the direction of the next rank.
The next rank was Domainist. Transcendents who reached that rank, regardless of which path they followed, could release a domain to form an absolute means of suppression.
This was a very interesting rank. Even though Olivia had personally dealt with more than one Domainist, she still had a considerable interest in becoming one herself.
She knew the advancement ritual for becoming a Domainist perfectly well, but she still had to go to the Church to obtain the relevant materials.
This was just a matter of application. Given her contributions to the Church, the relevant advancement rituals and materials were hers for the asking; her merits far exceeded the requirements.
Thinking of this, Olivia took out King's Domain and teleported directly outside the Daylight Cathedral, then walked straight in.
She found Ivy directly. First, she returned the forbidden artifact, the Recognition Mask, and then mentioned her need for advancement materials.
"You've already mastered all the abilities of a Transcender?"
Even Ivy, the head of the Daylight Cathedral, couldn't help but look over in surprise upon hearing Olivia's request.
"Yes, Sister Ivy," Olivia nodded with certainty.
This caused Ivy to fall silent for a moment. She knew it hadn't been very long since Olivia became a Transcender, yet in the blink of an eye, she was already preparing to become a Domainist?
This speed was a bit terrifying.
After a moment of thought, she said, "Olivia, as long as you meet the requirements, this application will undoubtedly be approved. However, I need to confirm first if you have truly met them. Show me the abilities of an Ascetic at the Transcender rank."
"No problem."
Olivia readily agreed, then proceeded to demonstrate her abilities one by one: the Eye of Discernment, the Blade of Cleansing, and miniaturization.
