Seeing Olivia's leisurely demeanor, Queenie's expression gradually shifted from anticipation to disbelief.
How could this be?
How could such an absurd thing happen?
She had never heard of anyone being able to dodge every single lightning bolt during a Thunder Feast.
Even if it were a Skywalker, they might be able to withstand the lightning's impact and remain unscathed, but to dodge every single strike? Even a Skywalker could not achieve such a feat.
So, what on earth was going on here?
Queenie felt as if her entire worldview were being shattered; she had no way to comprehend what she was witnessing.
Of course, she was not the only one whose worldview was crumbling.
Outside the arena, many from the three great empires exclaimed in shock, astonished by Olivia's performance.
Even within the Radiant Light Church, many Skywalkers and Domainists looked on in surprise, as if seeing Olivia for the first time.
Amidst the flashing bolts of lightning, Olivia walked step by step, and to Queenie's utter amazement, she strolled effortlessly out of the range of the Thunder Feast.
Even though Queenie was in her Thunderous Giant Bear form, Olivia could still see the look of shock on the bear's face.
She offered a faint smile and quietly activated the pain spell.
In her shock, Queenie naturally harbored a sense of disbelief, and that feeling was laced with a touch of pain. At that very moment, Olivia magnified that sliver of suffering.
In an instant, intense pain washed over Queenie like a tidal wave, causing her eyes to well up with moisture. Moments later, tears began to drip down.
"What is the matter? Did I hit you too hard and make you cry?" Olivia asked with feigned concern.
"Wuu wuu wuu, I... I am not crying."
Queenie did not know why she felt such intense pain, enough to make her shed tears.
Beneath the agony, she felt a burning sense of shame. After all, many people were watching her, and weeping at such a moment was undoubtedly humiliating.
So, she let out a roar and swung her paw, striking toward Olivia once more.
Olivia turned slightly, avoiding the heavy, powerful blow.
She then swung the Cross Grace, striking Queenie's paw before the bear could retract it, forcing a cry of pain from the beast.
Olivia charged forward, circling the massive Thunderous Giant Bear and striking again and again with the Cross Grace, leaving shocking wounds all over the bear's body.
The Thunderous Giant Bear had no way to dodge Olivia's attacks. Even when it tried its best to evade, Olivia would always catch up and leave another wound.
Yet, the Thunderous Giant Bear's own counterattacks could not land a single hit on Olivia.
This did not look like a battle between two Transcenders; it looked more like a training session between two people of vastly different class ranks.
Olivia was the one teaching Queenie a lesson.
Under this overwhelming suppression, it did not take long for Queenie, due to her severe injuries, to be forced out of her Thunderous Giant Bear form and collapse powerlessly to the ground.
She had lost.
At this moment, Queenie recalled the words she had spoken to Olivia before the fight began.
She had told Olivia to remember her well, because she would surely leave a deep impression on her.
Recalling those words now, a wave of intense shame and anger surged in Queenie's heart. Her breathing grew shallow, her head tilted to the side, and she fainted.
Olivia had no intention of mocking Queenie further. Once Queenie collapsed, she turned and returned to her seat.
"It seems the first match was won by our Radiant Light Church."
Sybil said this with a smile, then arranged for a priest from the church to go and treat Queenie.
During this process, she cast a glance or two at Olivia, whether intentional or not.
Even she was shocked by Olivia's performance.
She knew Olivia would win, but she had not expected her to win in such a manner.
From start to finish, Olivia had not even used her full strength; that was what made it so startling.
One had to realize that Queenie was no ordinary Transcender, yet even she appeared so helpless before Olivia. This was enough to demonstrate Olivia's extraordinary nature.
‘This girl certainly knows how to surprise me.’
Sybil thought to herself.
Queenie, having received treatment from the priest, soon recovered. By then, the members of the Nature Sect had stepped forward to carry the still-unconscious Queenie back to their side.
"What is going on? Didn't Queenie receive treatment? Why is she still not waking up?" Brayden, the Verdant Warden, asked with surprise as he looked at the carried-back Queenie.
Queenie kept her eyes closed but whispered, "Shut up."
Brayden was stunned, and a strange expression crept onto his face.
It turned out that Queenie had already woken up, but the humiliating result of the battle made her unwilling to open her eyes, even though she was conscious.
"You showed me a different side of yourself today—getting beaten until you cried, and trying to escape. In my heart, your image has been shattered," Brayden said, shaking his head.
Upon hearing this, Queenie was so angry she almost sat up, whispering, "If you're so good, you go then."
Brayden smiled slightly. "If I were to go, the result would truly be different."
"Stop bragging. Your strength is about the same as mine at best. Why would you think it would be any different if you went?" Queenie did not believe him at all.
"Because our fighting styles are different. All of my combat methods are full-coverage in the true sense; she cannot dodge them and would have to face all my attacks head-on."
As Brayden spoke, he stood up and walked toward the center of the arena.
Seeing this, Queenie could no longer pretend to be asleep. She opened her eyes, lifted her head slightly, and watched Brayden's back.
This, the most outstanding Verdant Warden among the Transcenders of the Nature Sect, had arrived in the arena.
Under the gaze of many, Brayden spoke without hesitation: "I wish to challenge Sister Olivia Melianne of the Radiant Light Church."
At these words, many gazes fell upon Olivia once more.
Olivia, who had just returned to her seat, stood up again and walked toward the center of the arena.
Regardless of whether the opponent specifically challenged her or not, as long as a Transcender stepped into the arena, she would have to face them.
