Although Olivia had long known that forbidden artifacts possessed a quality of being alive, the changes before her were unlike anything she had seen before.
She could not help but ask the magic mirror in her heart about the origin of this change.
【Master, this is because a wondrous reaction has occurred between your eyes and this forbidden artifact, activating some of the powers within it that were originally dormant. If other forbidden artifacts are exposed to the special power in your eyes for a long time, they should undergo similar changes.】
Dormant powers? What kind of powers were they?
Olivia inquired out of curiosity, and the magic mirror continued to provide answers.
It indicated that it had only just perceived a mysterious power lying dormant at the base of the forbidden artifact. This power usually remained hidden and would only surface after being influenced by Olivia's special eyes for a prolonged period, thereby resulting in a strengthening effect on the artifact.
This was perhaps something that very few people—perhaps even no one else—knew about, as no one possessed the same uniqueness as Olivia, except for the currently abnormal Rose.
Overall, this was a good thing.
After asking a few more questions and receiving the magic mirror's slow responses, Olivia fell into deep thought.
'Rose, oh Rose, just how many more surprises are you going to leave for me?'
Olivia felt a complex mix of emotions, and a sense of wonder flickered within her heterochromatic eyes.
She then took the Elemental Praise and tested its effects, finding that channeling and controlling elements had become much easier. Any elemental attacks she launched now possessed far greater destructive-grade power.
If previously holding the Elemental Praise allowed her to pose as an elemental mage of the Transcender class rank, now she could even disguise herself as a Domainist... no, that was not quite right.
A Domainist must possess a domain as their signature technique to truly be called one. Since she clearly could not manifest a domain, it seemed she could only pass herself off as a Transcender at their absolute peak.
Still, this was quite good; her disguised identity had received a sufficient boost.
'Right, I almost forgot something.'
Olivia seemed to think of something and quickly asked Mumu about a meditation method.
Her meditation method was still the Radiant Meditation Method, which she had obtained through the magic mirror long ago.
However, on the surface, she still practiced the Bright Light Meditation Method taught by Melanie, which was inferior to the Radiant Meditation Method.
As for the Radiant Meditation Method, during a previous exchange with Ivy, the other woman had mentioned it briefly. Ivy said that as Olivia accumulated more merit, she would eventually be taught the Radiant Meditation Method to help her increase her strength.
But she did not need that.
'Magic mirror, magic mirror, tell me, do you have a meditation method better than the Radiant Meditation Method now?'
【I have already learned of the Radiant Light Meditation Method. Based on current information, the Radiant Light Meditation Method should be the best meditation method within the Radiant Light Church.】
There actually was one!
Olivia was instantly intrigued and immediately had the magic mirror share the contents of the Radiant Light Meditation Method with her.
The magic mirror promptly closed its eyes and slowly transcribed the contents of the Radiant Light Meditation Method for Olivia.
From the current information, the Radiant Light Meditation Method was the absolute pinnacle of this series of meditation methods.
Whether it was the initial Glimmer Meditation Method, the Bright Light Meditation Method, or the Radiant Meditation Method, they all ultimately pointed toward the Radiant Light Meditation Method.
Even though it was the pinnacle method, it was not as difficult to learn as one might imagine. In fact, having mastered the previous versions was equivalent to having already passed the introductory stage. Mastering the Radiant Light Meditation Method now would yield twice the results with half the effort.
In just a short amount of time, Olivia had gained a preliminary grasp of the Radiant Light Meditation Method.
She then activated the Radiant Light Meditation Method, allowing herself to enter a wondrous state.
In the vast darkness of the night, countless points of light surfaced within Olivia's perception.
Each point of light was like a miniature sun, radiating endless brilliance. The light tore the night into fragments, turning the vast world into a sea of white that was exceptionally bright.
Seeing such a scene, Olivia could not help but gasp.
'Is this the Radiant Light Meditation Method? This is too powerful, too terrifying!' It was far beyond what any of the previous meditation methods could compare to; it truly lived up to its name as the pinnacle.
In a very short time, Olivia felt a massive surge of magic particles flooding into her body, transforming into her own magic power. Her individual aura surged upward instantly.
Under these circumstances, she felt she could utilize the Eye of Discernment she had mastered recently with even more flexibility.
As for her previous abilities, such as Wrathful Slash, Stigmata Armor, and Spark of Fire, they could all now erupt with even greater power.
Her strength had seen such a massive leap simply by changing her meditation method, which was more than anyone could have expected.
'The Radiant Light Meditation Method is truly terrifying. This is likely why the church does not teach it easily. However, the church probably never expected someone like me to exist, who would learn the Radiant Light Meditation Method so early.'
Olivia was very satisfied with today's gains.
She continued to familiarize herself with Elemental Praise and kept improving herself, waiting for the next day's confrontation with that prestigious pirate.
...................
In the blink of an eye, a new day arrived.
Olivia arrived at the Elijah Chamber of Commerce and changed into light clothing suitable for combat. Then, she took a carriage directly toward Gerard's estate.
When she arrived outside Gerard's estate, she noticed another carriage parked there, one that seemed to have arrived only moments ago.
Just as she arrived, the curtain of the other carriage was pulled back, and a figure stepped down.
The person who stepped off the carriage was a tall woman with a high ponytail. She wore light, adventurer-like clothing, and a gust of wind seemed to perpetually linger around her, giving off an ethereal sense of being beyond the mundane world.
The woman also noticed Olivia's arrival. She looked up and offered a faint smile. "Are you Stella? Let us get acquainted. My name is Freya Reynolds."
Olivia was stunned for a moment. She had not expected to run into her opponent for the day right at the entrance of Gerard's estate.
But a smile soon appeared on her face as well. "Ms. Freya, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Stella Elijah."
