Facing the group's admiration, Olivia could only remain modest.
Were they starting to marvel now?
Then what would happen in the future?
Olivia felt that reaching the next class rank, or even the one after that, wouldn't be a distant matter. By then, these colleagues of hers... might still be treading water.
'What can I say? I have a cheat,' Olivia muttered to herself.
After chatting with her colleagues for a while, she left the treatment room and prepared to head back to Annus Street.
It was worth mentioning that on her way out of the cathedral, she ran into another familiar face.
When Mirabelle, the princess with a hidden identity, saw Olivia, the look on her face was beyond description.
Just as Olivia was about to greet her, Mirabelle hastily turned around and walked away.
This left Olivia stunned, followed by a helpless shake of her head and a bitter smile.
She knew why Mirabelle had left in such a hurry—she must be feeling embarrassed.
Previously, Mirabelle had said with extreme confidence that Olivia was good, but ultimately wouldn't be able to catch up to her.
But now, Olivia had become a Sensate.
As for Mirabelle... she was, of course, still a Pilgrim.
Having talked big and failed to back it up, even Mirabelle would feel awkward.
So when she saw Olivia, Mirabelle felt only shock and chose to flee immediately. Even though she knew Olivia probably wouldn't mock her, she still couldn't save face.
Regardless, seeing that Mirabelle had no intention of talking, Olivia walked out of the cathedral and set off on her way home... or rather, on her way to the anger production machine.
...
Annus Street, the hotel.
Olivia knocked on the door and saw Rose and Annie sitting together, reading.
"Sister Nun."
Seeing Olivia's arrival, Rose's eyes lit up slightly. Even though her face remained expressionless, one could still feel that her mood had brightened a bit.
With a smile, Olivia said, "I bought you some drinks. Give them a try."
She took the drinks out of a paper bag and handed them to Rose and Annie respectively.
Rose took hers immediately and took a satisfied sip, tasting a blend of many fruits.
This was the fruit tea popular in Kaliron in recent years. It combined various fruits and sometimes added milk, coffee, or other ingredients to create unique and delicious flavors. It was quite popular in the city.
Annie took the cup skeptically, thinking to herself: 'This annoying woman actually bought me a drink too? How strange.'
She didn't drink it immediately, of course. Instead, she opened the lid and peered inside, only to find that her "drink" was transparent—she could see right to the bottom.
Her face instantly darkened. "I'm afraid this isn't a drink."
Olivia still wore a smile. "Drink more hot water."
"Screw you!"
Annie's temper flared instantly.
She knew that her emotions were being absorbed by Olivia and didn't want to keep enabling her, but by nature, she had a bad temper. Being repeatedly targeted and bullied by a low-level transcendent, how could she not get angry?
Even if she told herself a thousand times in her heart not to get angry, Olivia could always easily ignite her rage.
"What's wrong? Is it menopause?" Olivia asked with a smile. "Wait, that's not right. As an Evolver, your actual age is unknowable. It shouldn't be menopause; that must be something from your very distant past."
"You !" Annie started cursing directly.
She spat out every swear word popular in the Holy Kelidos Empire without repeating a single one.
"Annie, you can't be a bad girl," Rose quickly stopped her. She reached out and pinched Annie's cheeks, pulling them until Annie's mouth was squashed, forcefully cutting off her words.
This forced Annie to shut up before Rose let go, allowing her face to return to its rounded state.
But she still wasn't satisfied and immediately began cursing in other languages.
"Annie!"
Rose acted again, pinching Annie's face once more.
Annie quickly made an excuse. "I wasn't cursing. I was practicing my languages. My dream was once to become a diplomat."
Olivia burst out laughing on the spot.
Rose said seriously, "I can understand. Though I don't know why I understand, you were definitely cursing, and you used six different languages to do it."
Annie instantly deflated.
Spending these few days together had given her some understanding of Rose. She sensed that Rose was a powerful individual with some internal issues, truly believing herself to be a young girl.
Rose had no idea she possessed terrifying power!
So, Annie had been trying to use non-supernatural means to make Rose let down her guard, but it wasn't easy.
And today, she discovered another issue with Rose: the girl possessed an unexpected amount of knowledge, accurately knowing exactly how many languages she had used.
While Annie's attention was on Rose, studying the girl, Olivia reached out and grabbed both of Annie's cheeks, pulling them outward.
"What the are you doing?" Annie exploded again.
"Nothing, nothing. Don't misunderstand. I'm just... purely bullying you."
"Screw you!"
Annie was truly furious. She never thought someone so punchable could exist in the world. She moved as if to lunge at Olivia, but was pinned down firmly by Rose.
Feeling the constant surge of pain energy, Olivia smiled.
The anger of an Evolver was truly a good thing.
With this wave of anger from Annie, Olivia felt the anger seed in her body finally reach a critical point. A special ripple then spread out, causing the seed to pop open with a soft sound.
The anger flower had bloomed!
Sensing the change within her, Olivia immediately made an excuse to leave and set off for home.
As she walked, she felt the anger inside her.
She could actively trigger the power of the anger flower to enter a state of rage. Once in that state, her physical attributes received an all-around boost.
"I've become stronger again," Olivia whispered. "But it's still not enough. I need to be even stronger."
She returned to her residence, closed the doors and windows, and meditated silently to improve her strength.
Gradually, the rest of the day passed.
When night fell, Olivia opened her door. Dressed in a black cloak and wearing a mask, it was time for her to head to the underground black market.
