The words of the Angel Priest were, of course, heard by the Martial Dao Lords.
Without a word, the Extreme Martial Dao Lord raised his hand and unleashed a series of heavy, powerful punches. Terrifying strikes fell one after another, aimed at the worlds being corrupted by the Blood Demon.
Li Taiji, the Yin-Yang Dao Lord, acted alongside him, though his target was not the world itself, but the martial artists within it.
Standing atop a black-and-white Taiji diagram, Li Taiji held his hands in an embracing the origin stance before his chest, as the profound Taiyin rhythm instantly spread throughout the world.
A layer of white frost began to form on the corrupted martial artists, their bodies and souls sealed by the Taiyin intent.
The Falling caused by the corruption was also sealed, as if someone had pressed the pause button.
However, the bodies and souls that had already been corrupted could not be restored, just like the disciples corrupted in the Sea of Spirit before.
Li Taiji could only seal them to stop the corruption from progressing further; he was currently powerless against the damage already done.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Extreme Martial Dao Lord's fists descended, and the world membranes of several worlds instantly shattered under the terrifying force.
Even after the membranes shattered, the force did not diminish, continuing to spread through the worlds.
However, a flash of red light swept past, directly dispersing the Extreme Martial Dao Lord's strikes.
Immediately after, the earth in these worlds began to tremble. The ground cracked open, and magma from the core surged violently, pumping from the depths to the surface.
Raging flames erupted from the fissures. Besides radiating extreme heat, they also emitted a horrifying aura of corruption.
Such potent hellfire was certainly not the mere fragments carried in the hearts of ordinary demons, nor was it the kind of fire possessed by Hell Archdukes or Hell Demon Kings.
That left only one possibility: the Overlord of Hell, the greatest demon in the myriad worlds—the Mother of Hell—had descended.
Seeing this, the Extreme Martial Dao Lord immediately made a judgment.
“Everyone, I will suppress the Mother of Hell. You all rescue the disciples from the battlefield first.”
“Understood.”
The Extreme Martial Dao Lord leaped through the void, manifesting several clones, each landing in a different world.
Clad in the pure Dao rhyme of power, he threw frantic punches at the hellfire beneath the earth, pouring out his strikes, Dao rhyme, and fury.
The other Dao Lords took the opportunity to transfer the disciples out of the worlds.
Although there was no cure for the corruption yet, as long as they remained alive, there was still a glimmer of hope.
On the side of Heaven, the Angel Priest in charge of these battlefields also prepared to lead the expeditionary force in a retreat.
If the enemy were a Hell Archduke or even a Hell Demon King, the Angel Priest would lead the Heavenly Expeditionary Force to fight to the death to maintain the glory of the Heavenly Pantheon.
But now, the enemy was the Mother of Hell, an undisputed absolute peak of the myriad worlds.
Against such an enemy, let alone one Angel Priest, even ten would be of no use.
Assessing the situation, retreating in time to preserve their strength was the only wise move.
However, just as the Angel Priest raised his scepter to communicate with Heaven’s transmission core, the earth shook again, and a mad will appeared that made everyone tremble involuntarily.
This madness forcibly interrupted the Angel Priest, cutting the connection.
The Angel Priest chanted the honored name of the Lord of Heaven, descending a holy light barrier before attempting to contact Heaven again.
But the connection had just been established, and before the spatial channel could even open, that mad will surged once more.
In the next moment, drawn by that mad will, the dozens of worlds corrupted by the Blood Demon began to draw closer to each other.
As the worlds moved at high speeds, the spatial channel the priest had opened instantly collapsed, leaving him infuriated.
He had thought Hell was targeting the martial artists this time, but from the looks of it, Heaven was still bearing the brunt of it all.
The martial artists were being taken away one by one by the Martial Dao Lords, while the Heavenly Expeditionary Force was unable to escape, left behind in worlds on the brink of doom.
Just as the Angel Priest was sinking into despair, the dozens of clones of the Extreme Martial Dao Lord simultaneously assumed an ancient pillar-stance.
Once the stance was set, the worlds came to a halt. The Extreme Martial Dao Lord was like a series of nails, pinning the worlds into the void so they could no longer move.
The Extreme Martial Dao Lord looked at the Angel Priest. Though he said nothing, the priest understood the meaning in his eyes.
The priest seized the opportunity and contacted Heaven again.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
With the interference gone, pillars of magnificent Holy Light descended, enveloping the cities of Heaven on the battlefield and resonating with the followers of Heaven.
A look of joy appeared on the faces of the followers. The two waves of mad will from before had nearly caused even these steadfast members of the expeditionary force to lose their sanity.
They didn't want to stay here for another second. This was no longer their battlefield; staying any longer would not align with the teachings of Heaven.
One by one, the followers completed the Holy Light resonance and gained the qualification for teleportation. But as the saying goes, the path to success is full of obstacles. Just as they were about to be teleported, another accident occurred.
An incredibly massive, crimson blood claw reached out from the depths of a world's core, emitting a suffocating stench.
The blood claw slammed into the ground. In an instant, the immense power obliterated that world.
Every living being within it, including the Heavenly Expeditionary Force, was reduced to nothingness.
Then, a powerful suction force emanated from the destroyed world, instantly pulling all the surrounding worlds together.
The worlds collided violently, and spatial collapse disasters erupted everywhere within them.
Another flash of red light swept past, and the aftershocks of the world collisions were instantly smoothed out. A giant world, fused from dozens of ordinary worlds, was born.
Furthermore, this world was one corrupted by the Blood Demon, deeply connected to Hell and now a part of it.
The Extreme Martial Dao Lord retracted his stance, and all his clones returned to his main body.
The other Martial Dao Lords also gathered by his side. This world emitted a thick aura of corruption.
In the dark, there was also a deep malice directed at these Dao Lords.
“Hehehehe... How many years has it been? Since I killed those few last time, no pretentious Dao Lord has dared to enter my territory.”
A deep trench cracked open in the distant ground. Countless amounts of blood surged from the trench, pushing a massive flesh throne over ten thousand meters high up to the surface.
Seated upon that throne was an elegant lady. She wore a pale red, transparent cloak with nothing else underneath, her graceful figure displayed in full.
But no one was in the mood to appreciate the sight, for this lady had a pair of unique eyes. Those crimson pupils revealed an endless madness.
If the other Dao Lords mastered a Dao, then this lady was more like the Dao itself. She was the Overlord of Hell, the Mother of Hell, whose fearsome name was known throughout the myriad worlds.
The Mother of Hell stood up from her throne, her movements slow and elegant in every way.
But to the Martial Dao Lords, this elegance was the most blatant provocation.
With old and new grudges combined, the fury of these already hot-tempered martial artists reached a new level.
“Hah!”
No more words were needed. Only several shouts rang through the world. As soon as the Martial Dao Lords struck, they used their respective ultimate moves. Killing intent and Dao intent intertwined, filling the air.
