“Yes, my Lord.”
Sindragosa rose from her throne and raised her right hand. Releasing her Ultimate Cold Power, she manifested six dragons of varying forms.
“My Lord, the Land of the Undead absorbs homeless souls from across the myriad worlds to form necrotic creatures. Bone dragons are no exception.”
Chen Xu nodded; he was well aware of this.
Since becoming the Lord of the Undead, he felt as if he were the Land of the Undead itself. He could clearly perceive how many soul fragments the Land of the Undead pulled in with every breath and how many were consumed to produce the undead.
Even for Necromancers in other worlds, like those on Blue Star, their summoning skills worked through summoning formulas that communicated with the Supreme Throne, drawing upon a portion of soul fragments to summon necrotic creatures.
When a Necromancer summoned skeleton soldiers without a corpse as a base, the extra mental strength they expended was the price paid for this process of acquiring soul fragments.
With a corpse, they could directly convert the residual soul within it, saving their own mental strength.
This was also why higher-tier necrotic creatures required a greater number of corpses.
“So, your soul is composed of six fragments in total?” Chen Xu asked, looking at the dragon souls swirling in Sindragosa’s hand.
“Yes, my Lord.”
Sindragosa tightened her fingers. The six dragon souls circled in the air before bursting apart, revealing six silhouettes of light.
“These six dragons all came from different worlds, and all were female. Among them were two gold dragons, one black dragon, one silver dragon, and two variant dragons. I only obtained partial memory fragments from these six dragons, not their complete memories. However, they have allowed me to glimpse many secrets.”
Hearing this, Chen Xu’s interest was piqued. He immediately asked, “Secrets? What secrets? Tell me.”
“My Lord, within the myriad worlds, there exists a vast Dragon Realm. Its scale is far beyond the Dragon Court world you conquered on Blue Star. That Dragon Realm has existed for untold billions of years, its history longer than many Dao Lord-tier factions.”
“The world itself is quite unique. While not as profound as the six special worlds, it possesses its own mysteries, its tracks elusive and difficult for even a Dao Lord to find. The method to enter it is passed down by word of mouth among dragons. According to the memories I obtained, it contains countless treasures—even an entire ocean made of piled gold fragments.”
At this point, Sindragosa’s soul fire flickered vibrantly, betraying a hint of fanaticism. It seemed she hadn't quite recovered from the memory fragments and still carried a trace of a dragon’s greed.
“A mysterious Dragon Realm... that is indeed interesting. But if it’s as your memories describe and has existed longer than some Dao Lord-tier factions, it probably won't be easy to deal with. Right now, Hell is still baring its fangs at us; I don't have the energy to deal with another faction that might be at the Dao Lord-tier.”
“My Lord, we do not need to act personally. The Dragon Realm is mysterious; just searching for it would take an unknown amount of time. However, we have Miracle and the Undead Network that covers the myriad worlds.”
Sindragosa reached out her finger and summoned Miracle’s visible soul form, poking and teasing the little creature.
This was a skill Miracle had learned from Flideng, allowing it to manifest in a soul-like state. As one of Chen Xu’s creations, Miracle wanted to play with the others, but its life form limited it, so it could only appear this way.
“You mean we should put the news on the Undead Network and let the transcendents of the myriad worlds act as our vanguard?”
Sindragosa nodded. “Miracle can monitor all messages on the network at any time. As long as it finds suspicious content, it can block and bury it, ensuring only you, my Lord, will know.”
Ha, playing with permissions. Chen Xu hadn't expected Sindragosa to be so well-versed in such tactics. He suspected that among those six dragon souls, one must have spent a long time mingling in human kingdoms.
Still, Sindragosa’s point was valid. He would treat it as a long-term surprise to look forward to. Perhaps in the future, like Li Taiji and the others, he would fall into endless boredom as time passed. When that happened, this Dragon Realm would make for fine entertainment.
“Then go ahead and tell Miracle about the Dragon Realm. Have it spread the news.”
With that, Chen Xu left the Eternal Kingdom and returned to the side of the Whispering Tree.
Sindragosa’s promotion had brought about changes to the Eternal Kingdom region, which reminded Chen Xu that he might be able to solve his current experimental problems by adding new regions or modifying existing ones.
After all, his Mad Alchemy Lab had an expansion function. In theory, as long as he fed the lab enough affixes, it could fulfill all his requirements.
【Mad Alchemy Lab: Provides different alchemy functions based on the affixes fused with the lab. Current affixes: Distillery, Corrupted, Aberration.】
However, since the lab’s role was more supportive, it didn't provide Chen Xu with immediate combat power. Furthermore, he had been busy with the competition for the Lord of the Undead and dealing with the demon army outside Blue Star.
Consequently, after fusing the initial three affixes, Chen Xu hadn't spent any more energy specifically searching for space fragments to add more to the lab.
But with the changes in the Everfrost Divine Kingdom, he now remembered that he could use this method of adding affixes to break the current deadlock.
Now that he had his status as the Lord of the Undead as backing, the Wanbao Pavilion had plenty of fixed assets to squander. He could use premium prices to acquire space fragments from across the myriad worlds.
Moreover, he had Blue Star as his backyard.
After the spirit qi concentration in Daxia rose, the people from the academies and the Heavenly Crafts Academy stopped consuming space fragments to build dungeon secret realms. After all, spending massive amounts of time and manpower to build them was less efficient than just using the improved external environment.
Thus, many space fragments had piled up in the Heavenly Crafts Academy’s warehouse.
Chen Xu pulled out three space fragments he had conveniently taken when he visited Daxia not long ago.
Initially, he had just wanted them as substitutes for walnuts to fiddle with in his hand, but he hadn't expected them to come in handy today.
The attributes of these three space fragments weren't particularly great: Witchcraft, Curse, and Secret Arts.
Since he wasn't trying to increase his foundation, he hadn't taken any affixes related to the undead or summoning. Chen Xu extended his mental strength, wrapping it around the three fragments. He skillfully melted them and guided their energy into the alchemy lab.
