Just as Liu Yi left the coaching staff's office, her phone vibrated incessantly, with notification sounds from the class group chat ringing one after another.

Liu Yi pondered for a moment, then replied in the group chat.
【[Liu Yi]: I can participate in the performance show and racing competition; other activities can be left to the other students.】
【[Chen Yutong]: Great! With Moling Dragon in the high-altitude racing competition, we're definitely set!】
...
Liu Yi put away her phone. She didn't know much about performance shows, so she'd research it later to see how to coordinate with Ziyue.
Ziyue and Chiying had already recovered in the Beast Taming Space and reappeared by her side.
When they arrived at the exclusive School Team training ground, many team members were already training in the floating island training ground.
Gao Xue stood on a nearby platform, Frost Crystal Butterflies scattering shimmering powder around her.
Seeing Liu Yi, she nodded and signaled, “Today, the floating islands are moving 20% faster than yesterday. It's a bit challenging to adapt.”
Ouyang Qin's Berserker Bear was attempting to jump from one fast-moving platform to another.
Although massive in size, its movements were surprisingly agile.
“Let's begin too,” Liu Yi said to Ziyue and Chiying.
Chiying soared into the air, freely weaving between the floating islands.
It even intentionally changed direction abruptly while the platforms were moving, testing its reaction limits.
Ziyue, meanwhile, focused on precise control of Frost Path.
It erected ice bridges between platforms of varying heights, sometimes straight, sometimes spiraling, practicing to maintain the ice path's stability at various angles.
After today's training, Wei Xiuyu briefly said, “Continue tomorrow. Remember, you must not only adapt to the high-altitude environment but also consider how to leverage tactical advantages in such a venue.”
On her way home, Liu Yi bought some ice cream Ziyue loved and some jerky Chiying enjoyed.
After dinner, she sat in front of her computer and searched for “Beast Taming Performance Show Competition Videos.”
The screen quickly displayed various highlights of amazing performance shows.
In one video, an Aquamarine Seahorse of the Water-type created a massive water curtain on stage. The Beast Tamer stood in front of the water curtain, performing various movements in sync with the pet's skill rhythm.
Changing patterns were projected onto the water curtain, creating a magnificent spectacle.
In another video, a Fire-type Blazing Feather Bird danced with its Beast Tamer. Flames outlined brilliant patterns in the air, finally transforming into a 'Blazing Feather Bird' with outstretched wings.
The last video she watched featured a Snowmelt Bear performing, building a miniature ice castle on stage with frost. The crystalline ice shimmered under the lights.
Liu Yi searched for the performance show's scoring criteria.
The performance show's scoring criteria were based on five aspects: creativity, skill coordination, visual effects, rhythm control, and overall completeness.
“Bingbing!”
Ziyue squatted beside her, eyes sparkling as she watched the performances.
Liu Yi smiled and ruffled Ziyue's head, “Looks like you're interested in performance shows?”
She carefully analyzed the skill combinations Ziyue could use.
“Ice Blade can create ice crystal effects, Frost Breath can form flowing ice mist, and Frost Path can build stage structures...”
Ice Armor and Frozen Bite, however, didn't offer much in terms of performance.
The A-rank skills had also been cautioned against public use for the time being.
Liu Yi's eyes suddenly lit up, “Perhaps we can design a ‘Frozen Wonderland’ themed performance.”
She quickly sketched on paper: “We'll start by building an ice bridge with Frost Path, then carve various ice crystal decorations with Ice Blade. For the middle section, we can create flowing ice mist effects with Frost Breath.”
“Bingbing!”
Ziyue excitedly jumped onto the bed, her tail wagging gently, eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Chiying also came closer, curiously looking at the sketch.
Over the next few days, after each School Team training session, Liu Yi would take Ziyue to their backyard training ground for extra practice, preparing for the performance show.
These past two days, she had found many books on performance shows to read and even attended a class or two at school about them.
Most of them emphasized one key point: a pet's mastery of its skills.
Typically, the higher a skill's proficiency, the better a pet's control over that skill.
“Adjust the angle of the Ice Blade again,” Liu Yi instructed. “The light refracted by the ice crystals needs to hit exactly this spot.”
Ziyue focused on controlling the release angle of the Ice Blades. Twelve Ice Blades continuously adjusted their positions in the air, solidifying into intricate ice crystal patterns.
“Excellent,” Liu Yi clapped. “Next, try releasing Frost Breath in three segments.”
Ziyue took a deep breath, and the frosty mist she exhaled formed wave-like ice fog in the air. With each sway of her head, the ice fog took on graceful curves.
“Ziyue, this time we'll try combining Frost Path and Ice Blade,” she said, pointing to the left side of the training ground. “Start here, lay down the ice path first, then release Ice Blades along both sides of the path.”
Ziyue nodded and walked to the starting point.
She gently tapped the ground, and a shimmering ice-blue path instantly extended forward.
At the same time, with a flick of her tail, twelve Ice Blades precisely lined up along both sides of the ice path, forming a brilliant ice crystal corridor.
“Good. Now, try releasing Ice Blades as you walk, letting them bloom in the air like fireworks.”
Ziyue understood, stepping onto the ice path and slowly moving forward.
As she moved, Ice Blades continuously appeared around her, drawing an arc in the air before slowly dissipating, dazzling like ice fireworks.
“Next is the main event,” Liu Yi said, taking out a small audio device. “I found this piece of music; its rhythm is perfect for Frost Breath.”
