A Smooth Advancement

Law Freya, who was still temporarily an ordinary person, was summoned once again. She picked up the Rank One Law potion on the cabinet and drank it down.

She smacked her lips and murmured, “Why does it feel like drinking sweet water?”

She waited for a while, but Law Freya still didn't feel anything strange. She remembered how her entire body felt like it was on fire when she first drank the War potion. When she first drank the Earth potion, it felt as if the entire world had become clearer. When she first drank the Mind potion, she felt as if she were growing a brain, her head swelling.

But this time, there was none of that. After drinking the Law potion, Law Freya didn't have the slightest strange sensation. Once Life Freya reached a secluded spot, Freya's main body in the capital recalled her into the system and then released her, effectively "summoning" Life Freya over.

After using her Heart Perception ability to sense Law Freya's condition, it was exactly as expected—the potion was completely digested. Moreover, the scale of this advanced digestion was incredibly exaggerated, even higher than that of War Freya and Life Freya. A conservative estimate suggested she could progress all the way to Rank Six without any obstacles.

Furthermore, while physical changes like hair color alterations theoretically only started appearing at Rank Four, the tips of Rank Two Law Freya's hair were already showing faint signs of turning white.

As for the Rank Two abilities of the Law Pathway, Law Freya sensed them. They were 【Weapon Mastery】 and 【Physical Enhancement】—two very simple and unpretentious abilities.

The former allowed Law Freya to proficiently use most weapons, such as sabers, spears, swords, and halberds. While not at a master level of proficiency, it was at least comparable to someone who had undergone years of training, wielding them as extensions of her own limbs.

On top of that, Law Freya discovered that this weapon proficiency actually included firearms as well—pistols, rifles, sniper rifles, and so on, even extending to the operation of artillery.

The second ability, 【Physical Enhancement】, went without saying. It increased her strength and speed. The degree of enhancement was roughly equivalent to Rank One of the War Pathway. At first glance, this seemed like a bit of a loss, didn't it? Getting another pathway's Rank One ability only at Rank Two.

However, the Rank One abilities of the War Pathway were Strength Enhancement and Speed Enhancement, which were two separate abilities. The Law Pathway's single ability covered both of them, so it wasn't really a loss after all.

Law Freya looked down at her hands, clenching and releasing her fists to feel the power currently within her body. How should she put it? It felt as though simply reaching Rank Two of the Law Pathway guaranteed she would become a top-tier Soldier King. Her combat capability was actually quite high.

Even if they were both at Rank Two, she should be able to go toe-to-toe with a pure combat pathway like the War Pathway.

Once she was done investigating, Freya recalled both clones back into the system, then quietly waited for the Future Simulation cooldown to finish.

An hour later, Freya entered the simulation again right on time. Although she had brought out two bottles of potion directly last time, and theoretically doing so every time would halve the number of simulations needed, she still chose to enter as soon as the cooldown ended just to be safe. It was better to get all the potions as quickly as possible.

What happened next was no different from the first simulation: getting dressed up, attending the gathering. However, this time Freya didn't gorge herself at the party. Instead, she found a small corner and hid there.

Although she didn't know the specific abilities of this class advancement, and in comparison, the 【Listener】's Wish ability seemed more overpowered... the Arbiter currently had a Rank Seven potion available. With the path to becoming a demigod already laid out, any other choice naturally lost its meaning.

Of course, Freya still didn't know the rituals for advancing from Rank Four to Five, Five to Six, and Six to Seven. But with the potions in hand, she could take her time with those rituals. There was no rush.

However, after some thought, Freya ultimately decided not to drink the Rank Four potion and complete the class advancement just yet. Instead, she planned to wait for the cooldown to end and continue entering the simulation to get her hands on that Rank Seven potion first. Just in case some accident happened and she failed, she could still consider other class advancements.
