Li Yue walked onto the deck. She had only rested for a short while, and the wound on her chest was already healed. However, her regenerative abilities did not extend to her clothing, revealing the fair skin of her chest, though not too much was exposed.
Sharon glanced over, her face flushing slightly. Although the wondrous sight before her filled her with waves of fear and unease, the appearance of the young girl still caused her heart to surge with emotion.
She took off her own coat and wrapped it around Li Yue, who suddenly realized she had forgotten to put one on.
I'm not actually that sensitive to the cold... but since she already put the clothes on me, it would be awkward to refuse...
With that thought, Li Yue carefully fastened the buttons. The surrounding ships began to draw closer, bringing with them waves of mist. Within those mists, everyone could see blurry figures standing solemnly, their facial expressions obscured.
One figure was particularly clear—a deity who appeared clean and pure, draped in Athenian-style white cloth, sitting quietly. It seemed this was the master of the tomb. Li Yue studied the figure closely.
Sharon followed her gaze upward but immediately lowered her head in fear. Beneath her small nose, a stream of blood slowly trickled out, as if she had been struck by some form of intense stimulation.
“What's wrong?” Li Yue yawned and casually smoothed her hair, only to find that she was somehow wearing her divine raiment, and her hair now reached all the way to the ground.
“The one in the sky... the pressure is too much... I can hardly breathe.” Sharon’s voice was shaky and strained, as if she were enduring an immense weight.
Li Yue frowned, watching as the gathering ships gradually came to a halt, seemingly afraid to approach for the same reason. Just as she was about to say something, a streak of light flew in from the far distance, heading straight for the massive island in the center of the sea. In an instant, everyone heard a sound like a lock being turned.
The first gate has opened... Soon, Li Yue felt something slip from her grasp. The stone tablet that had been in her ring and the one in the captain’s cabin both flew toward the island as if summoned, seemingly unlocking two more seals.
Li Yue felt a gaze upon her. She followed it back and saw a familiar ship and figure—it was Bledsoe, whom she had nearly killed, surrounded by several other massive vessels.
Is that the legendary King of the Four Seas?
The question flashed through Li Yue's mind. If they all attacked at once, killing them all wouldn't be easy and she would likely get hurt... Plus, this strange mist in this sea seemed to be subtly targeting her, which could be troublesome.
The pressure on Sharon and the others on the ship seemed to be increasing. If this continued, everyone would collapse before they even reached the island. Li Yue prepared to activate Death Abyss to move everyone to another part of the ocean and wait for the pressure to subside before entering.
After all, simulating a god's aura consumed a lot of energy, and this masterless dream couldn't be maintained for long, even in its greatly weakened state.
Li Yue felt no pressure at all... which felt very strange to her. It was as if she were the only sober person in a room full of drunks. Everyone else was clutching their heads, afraid to look up, most of them hunched over or bowing. Only she stood there, staring straight at the phantom of the god in the sky. If the other party had an expression on their face, Li Yue wasn't sure if she would have laughed after staring for so long.
She slightly raised her hand, only to find that after a golden flash, the entire ship had been pulled to another location. Another massive ship was anchored here, and Li Yue could faintly sense a powerful aura radiating from it.
A figure teleported onto their ship. Without a word, Li Yue threw a punch wrapped in the power of the Death Abyss. The figure nimbly dodged, and the massive force of the strike sent crashing waves across the sea, even affecting the nearby ship. Cracks appeared in the hull of the wooden vessel, looking as though it might shatter at any moment.
Golden spatial magic appeared out of thin air. The space around them instantly vanished within this glass-like magic, transforming into a small island with pleasant scenery.
Domain magic? I can do that too.
The pleasant environment around the island began to shift instantly. The seawater slowly turned black, and even the sun took on a scarlet hue. Blood trickled from Li Yue’s eyes as a blood-red longsword appeared in her hand.
An elderly man wearing glasses and a beige suit appeared in mid-air. He didn't look young, his hair having turned white, appearing to be about sixty years old. There were a few wrinkles on his face, but he didn't seem particularly aged, likely because he appeared quite energetic.
He nodded politely to Li Yue, his eyes betraying a hint of surprise. The scenery behind him remained beautiful, while the sea where Li Yue stood was a solid expanse of black.
She simply unleashed her full power. She was now in her divine raiment state, and the Death Abyss was eroding the other's spatial magic. The golden world began to tremble on the verge of collapse.
She performed a sword salute, returning his politeness. Then, her fair feet shifted slightly as she prepared for a heavy horizontal slash. The other party also began to move. Under the elderly gentleman’s construction, a golden giant sword, appearing as if made of golden glass, flew toward her.
She responded with a blood-red slash that looked like a crescent of moonlight, far more powerful than the one she had used against Bledsoe. The two attacks collided, releasing a massive amount of magic energy into the air. Li Yue moved rapidly; in a single instant, countless moonlight-like slashes rained down from the sky.
A golden space within this world was reconstructed, catching all the attacks like a spiderweb. The blood blades were trapped within this golden space, which began to slowly compress, the energy within growing more and more immense.
Li Yue quickly followed up with another strike, shattering the gathered energy. The massive impact broke through the outer wall of the space, allowing outsiders to catch a glimpse of the small dimension the two were fighting in.
The elderly gentleman’s clothes were slightly torn, seemingly damaged by the immense force. His expression gradually became solemn. That last strike had even shattered the golden shield around him, which had looked like folded glass.
Li Yue reappeared a short distance away. The elderly gentleman seemed very patient, or perhaps he hoped the battle wouldn't affect the people outside. He made a gesture to pause and slowly began to repair the shattered space.
Li Yue respected his gesture and stopped her attack, standing on the sea and watching him. Both of them were quite surprised in their hearts.
Suddenly, a woman’s voice screamed from outside, sounding as if she were using every ounce of her strength.
“Professor Kent, she’s one of us!”
