Dispel Calamity

Desolate peaks, like sharp halberds, pierced the ground and thrust into the sky. Between the peaks, gaping black abysses opened, seemingly endless. Various weapons were impaled upon the peaks. In the sky, heavy thunderclouds swirled in a spiral, and at the center of the vortex was a massive symbol of three swirling tomoe, with countless electric serpents writhing through the clouds. This was the Sword Thunder Calamity Divine Domain, the Divine Domain unleashed by Takemikazuchi-no-Kami. He had drawn himself and Miketsu into this realm to unleash his full power without restraint and defeat Miketsu, who dared to challenge him.

Loud thunderclaps continuously echoed across the firmament. Dozens of lightning bolts split down from the Divine Domain's clouds, targeting the white-haired maiden soaring through the sky below. Miketsu soared between the heavens and earth of the Divine Domain, countless lightning bolts descending upon her, yet not a single one managed to strike her. She gracefully weaved through the myriad flashes of electricity, the swift and immense currents unable to even brush her clothes. It was as if the lightning deliberately bypassed her, striking other locations instead.

As Miketsu flew, a small object could be seen tied around her neck—an omamori, one sold by the Inari Shrine itself. Miketsu's Inari godhead represented prosperity and stability, possessing the ability to avoid and dispel calamities. Lightning strikes were naturally one such calamity. When she had just emerged, she casually picked up an omamori and wore it, bestowing upon herself calamity-avoiding protection by blessing herself, ensuring none of Takemikazuchi-no-Kami's lightning could strike her. Of course, wearing the omamori was merely for convenience in invoking blessings; Miketsu could achieve this level of calamity-avoiding protection even without it.

“You're not even deploying your Divine Domain? You're courting death, Uka-no-Mitama-no-Mikoto!” Takemikazuchi-no-Kami roared in anger, observing the scene below. He had already unleashed his Divine Domain, but Miketsu had not, which in a divine battle was an outright insult to her opponent.
