Ice shards sprayed, and fire fell like rain!
Collisions rang out everywhere, sharp blades and cold glints flashed in all directions, and heavy thuds hit the ground like drumbeats!
The Frostarm Lawachurl lunged about, unleashing the power of Glacio, while Pompeii’s flames fell continuously, setting everything ablaze!
—It was a literal world of ice and fire!
In contrast, that Witchcraft Colossus, though producing earthquake-like tremors with every step and strike, was far too clumsy.
Its attack speed was ridiculously slow, and without an increase in intelligence, it lacked ranged attacks. Consequently, it was almost entirely ignored. They simply dispatched a few people to lure it into a pre-dug massive pit, effectively rendering it useless.
On the other hand, the other “bosses” required the strong members of the team to form parties and challenge them.
...
Pompeii was being held back by Ying Yusheng, who led a few Dead-binders capable of “Echo transformations” involving shields. They took turns tanking the majority of the monster’s attacks.
However, reality wasn’t a game; Pompeii possessed animal-level intelligence and would naturally deal with individuals who posed a major threat to its life first. While it didn’t actively search for targets, if those ranged damage dealers dared to attack it, it would retaliate immediately!
As a result, the archers—who had originally intended to take down this “magical DPS” first—had no choice but to ignore this side of the battlefield.
Still, Ying Yusheng was clever. He poured a bucket of water at their position, which washed away monsters while also mitigating fire damage.
Now, it was essentially a slow process of chipping away at its health. They would definitely kill it eventually, but it also meant they likely wouldn’t be able to participate in any other fights.
Meanwhile, the Frostarm Lawachurl was being handled by Wu Yingzhe and Yu Jie. Able to transform into a Rock-armored Bear and a Gulpuff respectively, both were the thick-skinned, sturdy type.
With the various recovery items they had farmed earlier, it was enough for them to maintain their transformed states until the end of the battle.
Tu Sisheng was attacking from a distance; the lightning from her Lightning Staff was somewhat effective at chipping away at the Frostarm Lawachurl’s ice shield.
To be safe, Mo Shao had also placed a bucket of lava nearby so others could use it if an emergency arose. If the three of them were quick-witted, they should be able to realize this. Pouring lava on it would likely burn the monster’s ice armor to nothing.
Unfortunately, this was probably their first “boss battle,” and the group had no mental capacity left to think about such things.
After all, compared to Pompeii and the Witchcraft Colossus, who had very few “move sets,” the aura of the Frostarm Lawachurl was far too terrifying.
...
Mo Shao had no time to remind them because the enemy she had to deal with was the most troublesome—its intelligence was simply too high!
The main issue wasn’t whether they could beat it—the thing was actually manageable; it didn’t have many skills and was just extremely tanky. The problem was that the thing kept trying to tear down the walls! It didn’t care about the two of them at all, its chains lunging directly for the fortifications!
Then there were the “missiles launched from its back.” Although those things weren’t actually missiles, everyone who had been near it back then called them that.
All one could say was that Underworld technology was truly mind-blowing!
Those “missiles” shot straight into the sky before suddenly plummeting back down, blowing a gap right into the edge of the moat!
Originally, the water in the moat was lower than the depth of the ditch. Monsters that fell in could only stay submerged, unable to climb out at all. But now, the moat had been breached, and the ground was much lower. It was now possible for monsters to swim across and get onto the shore!
There were already very few people guarding the shore, and with monsters everywhere now, even trying to perform repairs was difficult!
Intelligent monsters were truly a nightmare to deal with.

Little Ka had already decisively activated her Ultimate. With a shout of “True form, revealed!”, she transformed into her “Frederis” form!
—Or, as Wuthering Waves players commonly called her: Big Ka.
First, her overall size increased, shifting from a teenage girl’s physique to a “towering” height of about 2.3 meters! The back of her skirt became thicker and longer, and the plant-like colors on her abdomen deepened. Combined with her original outfit, it looked almost like an elegant evening gown.
Her right arm was clad in knightly armor, and her longsword—which looked like both a scepter and a lance—changed into a greatsword wrapped in flowing currents!
The overall impression shifted from Little Ka’s aura of a calm water surface to the violent surge of a storm!
Although activating her Ultimate at her current level was extremely energy-intensive—in fact, even using basic attacks would drain her significantly—normal people’s basic attacks didn’t come with a bunch of special effects.
If even Little Ka’s form was like this, the effects of her Big Ka form were even more exaggerated. She even had to consume energy just to maintain the transformation!
...
Of course, if she just stayed transformed without fighting, the duration could still last quite a while.
Once she leveled up a bit more, her recovery rate would likely outpace the consumption rate, allowing for a permanent transformation. For now, however, consumption wasn’t much of an issue.
Since they had gathered plenty of recovery items, they could barely manage to sustain a period of continuous combat.
The first effect after the transformation was—super wide-range crowd control! With just two skills, she pulled all the monsters near the gap together! For a brief moment, that spot became “empty.”
“Repair it, quick!” someone shouted. It was unclear who leaped down first, but in an instant, the gap was completely repaired!
—This was the repair efficiency of Minecraft!
However, this still wasn’t enough. The Golem could launch several more waves of attacks. To solve the root of the problem, they had to kill it!
Big Ka was already fighting with everything she had, numerous wind blades and blue sword-shadows manifesting under her strikes!
...
As for Mo Shao on the side—she poured lava first!
Against a cold, undead-type monster with poor mobility, lava was incredibly effective! Since Big Ka was now engaged in full “aerial combat,” her feet didn't even touch the ground, so the lava wouldn't accidentally hurt her.
“Restrain it for a moment!” Mo Shao shouted to Big Ka. Upon receiving a firm nod, she immediately set off again!
Finally—it was time for the “ultimate trump card” she had envisioned in her mind for a long time but had never used until now!
Mo Shao reached out and gripped the air. As gray magical particles manifested, her staff appeared in an instant—and then it carried her flying into the sky!
Within just half a minute, Mo Shao had nearly flown to the limit of her current reach. She could already see the distant ocean!
Upon reaching this height, Mo Shao didn’t stop to admire the view. She simply turned around and dove straight down!
As for why she was doing this? Because her other hand was already gripping an iron spear!
In Minecraft, a spear’s thrust damage depended on “relative velocity.” The higher the relative velocity, the higher the damage!
In reality, she could undoubtedly use the momentum of a high-altitude dive to accelerate, thereby boosting the spear’s damage!
In other words, her current actions could be described as a—[Pseudo-Kinetic Orbital Strike]!
