Chapter 110 · Volume 1

Is the Eldest Getting Married?

Another wave splashed against Ain's face.
Hmm...
A, B, C, D, E... which cup size was it?
Anyway, it was definitely bigger than a certain little flat board.
It also seemed slightly bigger than Erylin's.
“So, you like this sort of thing?”
A melodious voice drifted into Ain's ears, instantly startling him. Only then did he realize what he was actually doing.
The overloaded magic circuits had left his head spinning and dazed.
To put it simply, his brain was short-circuiting.
“Ah! Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to offend you!”
Ain immediately retracted his right hand, intending to sit up and apologize. However, the various negative status effects on his body forced him to remain flat on the ground.
“Hehe... Why are you being so shy?”
The female voice paused briefly, then deliberately laced her tone with a touch of coquettishness.
“Couldn't you use me however you pleased before?”
“Young Master Ain?”
Suddenly, Ain felt his heart skip a beat.
How was he the one being teased here?
As he slowly opened his eyes, the blinding sunlight temporarily blurred his vision.
But he could still make out the distinct cream-colored curly hair and familiar face.
“Rosalind?!”
Ain looked at the girl in front of him in sheer surprise. He hadn't seen her since the events of Act Two ended.
Right now, Rosalind wasn't wearing her Titan Prosecution Office cadet uniform. Instead, she wore a beautiful blue-and-white maid outfit.
Though the maid outfit lacked elaborate decorations, it was clearly of a much higher quality than the coarse, stiff uniforms seen in minor families.
Her cream-colored curls fluttered gently in the sea breeze, and her well-proportioned legs, clad in white over-the-knee socks beneath her skirt, drew Ain's gaze for a few extra seconds.
Seemingly noticing Ain's gaze, Rosalind smiled faintly and looked at him with a hint of anticipation.
“Do you like this as well?”
Rosalind's white-gloved fingertips brushed idly against the top band of her thigh-high socks.
Then, she gently pulled a section upward and suddenly let go.
With the elastic snap of the fabric, a slight indentation was pressed into her thigh, the force of the recoil causing the soft flesh to quiver slightly.
Seeing this, Ain's cheeks flushed slightly.
This girl's game is too strong. I'm completely outmatched.
Lillian is definitely much easier to tease.
Left with no choice, Ain decided to change the subject.
“Why are you here?”
“Hmm... shouldn't I be the one asking you that?”
Rosalind looked at Ain in confusion. She then moved behind him, gently resting his head on her lap while skillfully tidying up his messy hair.
“This is a very remote coastal area. Even the local fishermen rarely come out this far.”
“It seems like... you've been doing something reckless again.”
Rosalind spoke with a gentle, persistent smile on her lips.
“Are you tired?”
“You probably need a good rest, don't you?”
Feeling this sudden warmth, Ain couldn't tell for a moment if she was teasing him or if she was genuinely concerned.
“So, right now we are...”
“Ain!”
A powerful voice echoed from the distance. Accompanied by a flurry of hurried footsteps, a familiar figure appeared before him.
“Senior?”
Emil stood there panting heavily, his hands resting on his knees as he gasped for air.
“Thank goodness, I finally...”
But when he saw Ain lying there so comfortably, enjoying the pampering of a beautiful maid, Emil froze instantly.
“I've been searching for you along the coast for nearly an hour! And here you are, on a damn vacation?!”
“And... and who is she?!”
Emil interrogated Ain. He truly hadn't expected that after the incident at the restaurant, this guy would manage to pick up yet another gorgeous woman, whose looks were easily on par with the girls from before!
And by the looks of it, she was a maid from an influential family.
Does this guy really have no limit?!
How is there always a girl clinging to him so closely wherever he goes?!
Ain broke into a cold sweat and quickly tried to explain, “Senior, you've got it wrong. She's actually Sevis's...”
“That's right. I am Young Master Ain's exclusive maid.”
Rosalind deliberately wrapped her arms around Ain's head, putting on an incredibly intimate display.
Emil nearly ground his teeth to dust.
How did this guy suddenly turn into a young master of some prestigious family now?!
Just as Ain was about to ask about Emil's situation and their next steps, Emil let out a long breath, forcing a murderous smile onto his face.
“Ain...”
“Yeah?”
“I *******, if I ever see you again, I'll *******, then *******, and finally *******!”
“We're done! I'm unfriending you!”
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Emil was completely done with this.
...
An hour later, Rosalind was carrying Ain on her back, walking step by step through the bustling streets.
“A dragon... I really didn't expect you to do something like that...”
“Did you guys not see it? Such a massive monster should have been easy to spot.”
Rosalind shook her head.
“We didn't.”
Did that person use some kind of perception-blocking magic?
While Ain was pondering, Rosalind spoke up again. “By the way, that senior's reaction earlier was quite amusing.”
“He seemed very envious of you.”
“Uh, so you did that on purpose, didn't you? If Sevis saw you calling me 'Young Master,' wouldn't he be furious?”
“Hehe~”
Rosalind giggled softly but didn't answer.
Looking at the slightly amused girl, Ain couldn't help but wonder.
Has Rosalind always been a bit mischievous?
Watching her navigate the crowded streets with ease, Ain, who had been about to give her directions, swallowed his words.
“You're actually this familiar with the area?”
“Mm... in fact, I was already planning to visit the Lorenz family estate.”
She quickly added, “I came out today to prepare ingredients for a major upcoming event in our family. I just happened to spot you while passing by the fish market.”
“Going to Miss Erylin's home now is also to deliver an invitation to them.”
Ain frowned.
“A major event? What major event?”
In an instant, Ain thought of his bastard father who loved to torment his own son.
Could Wesley be cooking up some new scheme?
Maybe he should ask Lola?
Seeing Ain ask, Rosalind turned her head slightly, gave him a meaningful look, and said, “It's a wedding.”
“A wedding for the primary heir of the family.”
“A-A-A wedding?!”
Ain nearly tumbled off Rosalind's back.
The Eldest is getting married?!
No, wait, for real?!
