As Irene flipped through sheet after sheet of the so-called Imperial V-Type Power Armor Disassembly Blueprints, her expression grew increasingly marvelous.
According to the information in the blueprints, this suit of armor was similar to the exoskeleton power armor from certain works in her past life.
However, it was completely enclosed.
Once equipped, the armor could drastically enhance the wearer's physical strength.
It possessed physical and magical defense that defied common sense.
Converting the values provided in the blueprints, even an ordinary person wearing this armor could easily thrash a low-rank class-holder.
It was no exaggeration to say they could kill a bull with a single punch.
This was no longer science fiction; it was fantasy.
After all, this was a world of magic and battle qi.
The technology tree had only just climbed to the steam age.
Yet, out of nowhere, something resembling futuristic technology had suddenly popped up.
No matter how one looked at it, the aesthetic felt completely out of place.
No reasonable person would believe it was real.
Yet, using her dragon brain's computer-like processing speed to run the data provided, Irene was shocked to discover a possibility: as long as the material strength was sufficient,
it seemed they really could manufacture this armor according to the blueprints...
This made the little dragon girl suspect that her Draconic Inheritance might be a sham.
As everyone knew, the Draconic Inheritance was all-encompassing.
This was because it was not the legacy of a single dragon.
Rather, it was formed by countless dragons carving their own experiences into it, passing it down from generation to generation.
Through this method of inheritance, the knowledge within the Draconic Inheritance accumulated continuously.
By now, it had reached a terrifying level.
Yet, even in such an all-encompassing Draconic Inheritance, there was absolutely no information regarding this so-called Imperial V-Type Power Armor.
Irene's mind began to race.
Throughout the entire history of the Arlesk Plane, technology had never reached an era capable of producing such futuristic equipment, had it?
Had humans been secretly grinding behind the scenes, climbing the technology tree to some unimaginable height?
But if they were secretly grinding, why would they carry such important blueprints on them?
Were they afraid others wouldn't notice?
As if suddenly realizing something, Irene looked at the bald little black dragon, who stood with his hands on his hips, looking immensely proud of himself.
“When you found those humans, what were they digging up?”
“Huh?” Daviel didn't quite catch on. Seeing Irene's serious expression, he scratched his head and thought aloud, “I didn't recognize it. The thing was buried underground, and it looked pretty huge.”
“They only dug up a small part of it. The exterior looked metallic.”
Hearing this, Irene visibly stiffened.
A rather whimsical thought popped into her head.
Could these humans have dug up an alien spaceship?
Honestly, though this idea was a bit mind-boggling, it wasn't entirely impossible.
Beyond this world lay the so-called Astral Realm.
Within the Astral Realm, there were countless other planes.
Perhaps one of them just happened to be a technological plane.
And perhaps the intelligent creatures of that plane, while piloting their spaceship past the Arlesk continent one day, met with an accident.
Like being shot down by some Legendary archmage practicing Super-Tier Magic...
Setting aside the facts, this actually seemed quite logical.
The little dragon girl couldn't help but mutter to herself.
But if it really was an alien spaceship, things were about to get interesting.
Unlike this magical world, where becoming stronger required spending a massive amount of time and talent honing battle skills and learning magic,
combat power on the technological side was directly tied to productivity.
As long as productivity kept pace, various technological creations could be rapidly deployed into battle.
If she could obtain this alien spaceship and master its technology, wouldn't her power skyrocket instantly?
Who would still play around with magic and battle qi then?
Just blanket the area with firepower. Within firing range, power is truth.
Perhaps she could even merge magic and technology for a one-plus-one-equals-three effect.
Although these things seemed to have been discovered by humans first,
that didn't matter.
According to the current information, those humans didn't seem capable of excavating the suspected alien spaceship anytime soon.
In that case, she just had to take advantage of this window to snatch it.
Although this carried some risk,
to obtain a futuristic technology that existed only in science fiction works in her past life,
the risk was well worth taking.
Even if they were discovered, it wouldn't matter.
With their current forces, the enemy would either have to send powerful experts to suppress them or deploy a massive army.
If they sent experts, given the formidable combat strength of dragons and their numerous vassals,
anyone below the Gold Rank would just be delivering themselves on a silver platter.
If multiple Gold Rank experts were deployed, at worst, they could abandon all their vassals to delay the enemy, fly overseas, and hide on some uninhabited island.
After laying low for a few decades until they fully understood the technology, she could make a grand return like a dragon king, flash a smug smirk,
and crush all obstacles before them with a torrent of steel!
It could be said that unless a Legendary expert was dispatched, no one could do anything to Irene now.
Furthermore, Legendary experts were also known as National Guardians.
A small duchy might not even possess one such powerhouse.
Each was a heavyweight figure guarding a nation, serving as a means of balance among major countries.
Similar to the nuclear deterrence of her past life, they could not easily leave their country.
Thus, to stop two dragons intent on escaping without deploying a Legendary expert, there was only one way.
Dispatch an army of at least tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, equipped with dragon-hunting gear to seal off the entire region.
However, the God-Forsaken Land was surrounded by the sea on three sides.
To come by land, they would have to traverse the Great Gana Forest, or the neighboring Dwarven Empire, and then cross the Ersencielo River.
The Dwarven Empire would certainly never allow another country's army to enter.
That would be no different from inviting a wolf into their home.
Thus, they could only pass through the Great Gana Forest.
After that, crossing the Ersencielo River remained a massive hurdle.
Unless the entire army could fly, or they slaughtered the countless aquatic magical beasts in the Ersencielo River,
they would otherwise require countless levitation scrolls or the creation of teleportation portals.
Such a massive expense alone would give an ordinary duchy pause.
Traveling by sea was even more impossible.
The three sea regions of the God-Forsaken Land were home to countless terrifying sea beasts.
These barriers were the means used by the gods back then to punish the beastkin and half-beastkin, preventing them from escaping the God-Forsaken Land en masse.
Now, however, they had become a natural protective umbrella.
Realizing this, the corners of Irene's mouth curled up.
She immediately looked up, adopting a solemn and dignified expression, and said to Daviel:
“My dear brother, could you take me to see the place where those humans are digging?”
“Huh?!”
Hearing that he had to go back there again, Daviel's expression couldn't help but shift.
He had sustained his injuries right there, and his scales hadn't even grown back yet.
Going back there was like looking for a rope to hang himself—practically begging for death.
What if, the moment he returned, that old mage saw him and went:
“Oh ho! You're back, dragon cub!”
And then pinned him to the ground for another thrashing...
But seeing Irene's solemn expression, Daviel knew that this matter was highly likely out of his hands.
Still, holding onto a final sliver of hope, he pleaded:
“Sis... can we not go?”
“I just did a divination. These next few days—no, these next few years are not suitable for going out.”
“How about we wait a few hundred years? We can go check it out in a few centuries.”
“What do you think?” Irene narrowed her eyes, tilting her head with a sweet smile.
“A few decades would work too...”
Daviel still wanted to struggle.
However, in the next second, he was grabbed by the collar and dragged away.
Leaving a deep groove on the ground.
Even so, Daviel did not give up struggling, his mouth rattling off like a machine gun.
“Sis! Sis! Ten years is fine too! Eight years! Eight years is okay, right? Seven years, I can't go any lower!”
“Six years is also fine...”
Ignoring the howling Daviel, Irene turned her head to Fido and said:
“Find a way to notify all the Black Knights in every oasis. We are going to pull off something big.”
“Understood.”
Fido nodded, answering instinctively.
But once he processed the words, he froze on the spot. He quickly ran forward a couple of steps and asked:
“Your Grace, did you say all the Black Knights?”
“Yes, all of them.”
Irene glanced at Daviel, who was being dragged behind her like a dead dog, and said:
“I'll have Daviel draw a map in a bit. Have the Black Knights follow the map and gather directly at the target location.”
“Remember, keep a low profile during the process. Try not to let anyone see you.”
“Understood.” Fido's eyes seemed to burn once more with the battle intent from years ago.
“I will arrange the messengers right away.”
Watching the old kobold's retreating figure, the corners of Irene's mouth curled up slightly, revealing a smile filled with inexplicable meaning.
“After sleeping for so many years, it's about time to stretch my bones.”
