In truth, even Eventador hadn't expected Starlight to pinpoint the core of the issue so accurately in such a short amount of time.

The research and enhancement of this space had always been one of the heavy responsibilities of the academy’s successive principals. At the same time, it served as a vital experiment for the possibilities of fusing different elements.

Even Eventador and Carlos had spent a long time discussing this very question with their teacher before they finally locked their focus on the word “fusion.”

“It seems my guess was correct? Can different elements truly achieve perfect fusion?” Starlight asked expectantly.

Eventador narrowed his eyes, giving the boy a deep look before slowly nodding and beginning to explain in detail.

Achieving the fusion of different elements was by no means a simple matter of addition. If two people wanted to achieve this goal, they needed an extremely high level of coordination, and the strength of both parties could not be too far apart.

If the power of two elements existed within the same person, the difficulty of fusion would be greatly reduced. Most Grand Archmages were capable of fusing spells they were proficient in to create unique effects.

For example, Lightning Magic, derived from fusing the fire and wind elements, and the Gravity Domain, created by combining earth elements with spatial power, were the most common applications of fusion.

Based on the records currently available on the continent, the elemental fusion that humans could achieve through their own power alone was limited to only two different elements.

Theoretically, basic elements like water, fire, earth, air, light, and dark could be perfectly fused together; after all, they were the fundamental building blocks of the world.

In the long history of the Central Spiritual Arts Academy, countless predecessors had made unremitting efforts, finally using the giant magic formation beneath the library as a foundation to create that miraculous internal space.

Once Mowei and Eventador added the elements of time and space respectively, that space could be regarded as a naturally formed, independent world.

Although this might not sound particularly shocking at first, it actually went far beyond the simple use of elements. It was the actual creation of a brand-new world.

One must realize that creating a world was far beyond the scope of what humans could reach; that was the domain of the gods.

In the process of gradually perfecting this space, they had also conceived a bold hypothesis:

If all basic elements could be perfectly fused, it would inevitably give birth to an unprecedented new power. If a human could master it, they would surely obtain power that transcended the mortal realm and rivaled the gods.

Even though this space had been operating silently within the academy library for countless years, it had still failed to reach a state of perfect fusion. After all, the strength of successive principals varied, and their understanding of magic differed greatly.

However, for Starlight, this seemingly impossible task was by no means an unreachable dream.

Born with a Radiant Elemental Body that possessed affinity for all basic elements, if he could successfully break through to the Saint Rank, he might become the key for humanity to step into that realm.

After hearing Eventador’s explanation, Starlight and Moen were both shocked by the vision of those predecessors. At the same time, they began to understand why Carlos had gone to such great lengths to seal Starlight's fate.

“Principal, do you mean... it's possible for Starlight to transcend the limits of ordinary living beings and touch that realm?” Moen asked softly.

Eventador nodded solemnly, then turned his gaze toward Noah hanging at Starlight’s waist.

“At first, I thought this was nothing more than an unreachable dream in the hearts of mortals. But after meeting Little Star, both the teacher and I independently had the same thought—this long-cherished wish might truly be realized through him... Perhaps this was Carlos’s true intention all along?”

In the face of this statement, Noah did not raise any objection, instead silently acquiescing to the point.

“The things you're talking about are a bit too distant for me... Setting aside whether it's even feasible to reach the Saint Rank in all elements, I think what I need to do right now is find a way to obtain an Ultimate Element.”

Starlight was never one to aim for the unreachable. Although Eventador’s explanation gave him a sense of sudden enlightenment, he still felt that such things were far too remote for him.

While the elemental mark stripped from Taros likely contained a portion of the Ultimate Power of the dark element, even counting that, he had only found one-sixth of what he needed.

“That’s the spirit! But setting a goal is a good way to motivate oneself to move forward. So, let’s move away from this topic and start from the basics!”

Eventador clapped his hands with a smile, waking the two from their contemplation, and immediately began the day's teaching.

He turned and took a dark green, head-sized sphere from the bookshelf behind him and handed it to Moen.

According to Eventador, Moen’s previous focus had been on nature magic and increasing her mana, but her control over wind elements was actually quite clumsy.

This green ball was a small prop he had meticulously developed. One only needed to inject wind elements into it, and the sphere would begin to move irregularly.

What Moen had to do was inject as much wind element as possible while maintaining its stability. This was one of the best ways to train the basics.

After taking the green ball, Moen carefully began to inject wind elements into it. Under the influence of the element, the green ball soon emitted a cyan light and began to tremble slightly.

Although Moen was able to steadily suppress the shaking of the sphere at the beginning, as the wind element continued to accumulate inside, the difficulty of controlling it increased sharply.

In just over ten seconds, the tiny vibrations on the green ball had evolved into erratic bounces. Like a frenzied kitten, it suddenly leaped from Moen’s palm and rolled to the side.

Today, he was going to teach Starlight other applications of space magic, such as the use of Instant Movement and the Displacement Spell.

Compared to the most basic magic like storage space, teleportation-type magic was much more difficult.

According to Eventador, the basis for moving within space was to imagine oneself becoming a part of the entire space, allowing one's body to transform into spatial elements to push aside the surrounding space and reappear directly in the imagined location.

This principle seemed very simple when explained verbally, but doing it was an entirely different matter.

Without excellent spatial affinity, most mages would not dare to use Instant Movement recklessly even if they had mastered the method.

Because integrating oneself into space and then reappearing elsewhere was actually a rather dangerous thing, especially in battle.

To achieve this, one not only needed a high degree of compatibility with spatial elements, but the caster themselves also had to have a very strong ability to perceive the surrounding space.

Because even a trivial little pebble at the landing point could trigger a series of chain reactions, thereby determining the outcome of the entire battle.
