With that, Flora put down her book and walked into the kitchen. Before long, she brought out a steaming breakfast. “Eat first, Louise.”
“Okay~” Louise walked over to the dining table with light steps and sipped her porridge. “Flora, your cooking is really delicious~”
“I’m glad you like it~” Flora sat back on the sofa, picked up her book again, and said with a smile.
“Why do you like cooking so much, Flora?” Louise asked curiously as she ate her breakfast.
“Because when I was in the secret realm, it was very boring. Cooking helped pass the time.” Flora closed her book and looked at Louise with a relaxed expression.
“A secret realm?”
“Yes. Staying in a secret realm to cultivate every day is very tedious, so cooking became my pastime outside of training.” Flora rested her chin on her hands, thought for a moment, and said, “And as I kept doing it, I realized that making and enjoying delicious food is actually quite fun.”
“After that, I was framed by the Shadow Cult and lost my mana.” Flora frowned and said, “I thought I was completely done for... The only skill I had left was cooking.”
“What on earth is this Shadow Cult? I’ll help you teach them a lesson in the future!” Louise waved her fist indignantly. “What happened next?”
“Then I met Mr. Chen Mian.” Flora flashed a bright smile. “At first, I was worried he might be some wicked person with bad intentions.”
“He doesn’t look like he has it in him to be bad, does he?” Louise puckered her lips and teased, “Did he do anything to you?”
Flora’s ears turned slightly red. “...No.”
“Why are your ears red?” Louise looked at Flora suspiciously, stopping her spoon mid-air. “Out with it~”
“Really, nothing!” Flora quickly waved her hands and said.
“I don’t believe you!” Louise stood up, walked over to Flora, and reached out to tickle her waist.
“Hahaha... Stop tickling, Louise... Hahaha, it tickles so much!”
“Are you going to tell me or not~”
“I’ll tell you, I’ll tell you! Mr. Chen Mian... wanted me to give him a massage, hahaha!”
“...Wanted you to give him a massage?” Louise stopped her hands, her purple-gold eyes filled with confusion.
Flora’s face flushed red as she curled up on the sofa, protecting her waist with both hands. “I-It’s a condition of the lease... Ten minutes a day...”
“Ten minutes a day?” Louise repeated, her expression turning meaningful. “Just a massage? Nothing else?”
“It really is just a massage!” Flora explained with a blush. “The first time, he actually massaged me. He said that since I had never done it before, it would be useless for me to massage him. But in truth, he was helping me remove the curse.”
Hearing this, the corners of Louise’s mouth curled up slightly. “I see... That indeed sounds like something he would do.”
...
“Is this right, Miss Loviki?” Luolin swung the wooden sword a few times, then looked at Loviki.
Loviki stepped closer and adjusted Luolin’s posture. “Yes, that’s correct now. Hold this posture, and remember how it feels to exert force like this.”
After Luolin mentioned yesterday that she wanted to learn swordsmanship, Loviki had dragged her out of bed early this morning to begin her grueling training.
Fortunately, Luolin truly wanted to learn. Far from being reluctant, she was quite excited and studied very diligently.
As for Loviki herself, she had already sparred with Chen Mian early in the morning. Although Chen Mian was a glutton when it came to delicious food, he trained diligently every single day without fail.
To become the youngest Diamond Rank fencer in the Hella Kingdom, she had put in an immense amount of effort alongside her natural talent.

When Velyan woke up, she found herself lying in an unfamiliar room. The sharp pain radiating from her body made her frown slightly.
She immediately sat up and looked around. The furnishings in this room were very strange. That white iron box clearly didn't have any magic fluctuations, so why was it emitting heat?
But she didn't dwell on it. She looked down at her body and realized her clothes had been changed.
Her wounds were also bandaged, and the aura left behind by that monster had weakened significantly.
Someone had saved her...
Velyan tried to use her mana to escape.
However, she found that her physical condition was still quite poor—she couldn't even cast the simplest short-range teleportation.
Just then, footsteps sounded outside the room, and the door was pushed open.
Appearing before her was a very handsome human male—at least by her standards, he was indeed very good-looking.
But Velyan dared not lower her guard. She stared intently at the man before her. Then, as if realizing something, the vigilance in her eyes grew even deeper. “Human... was it you who saved me?”
“Yes. You collapsed in the Forest of Death. I happened to be passing by, so I brought you back,” Chen Mian said with a nod.
“Then my body...” Velyan grit her teeth, looking at him with a mix of embarrassment and anger.
“Don’t worry, I didn't peek at you...” Chen Mian waved his hand with a smile. “Do dragons even care about things like that?”
“Human! Do you have some kind of misunderstanding about dragons?!” Velyan shouted in anger, her eyes widening.
“Misunderstanding? I’ve honestly never seen a dragon wearing clothes before...” Chen Mian said, looking genuinely puzzled.
“Scales! We have dragon scales on our bodies!” Velyan said, exasperated.
“Right, right, I get it~ Dragon scales.” Chen Mian gave a half-hearted reply. “Since you’re awake, come out and get something to eat.”
“Human! Even though you saved me, I really want to beat you up!” Velyan waved her hand threateningly.
“Go ahead,” Chen Mian shrugged indifferently. “You can’t beat me anyway.”
Velyan sensed the tiny sliver of mana left in her body and let her wings droop dejectedly. Then, she looked up at Chen Mian, her face returning to a calm expression. “Thank you, human.”
“You’re welcome.” Chen Mian waved his hand and walked out of the room. “Come on, let’s eat. Dinner is ready.”
Velyan stared at his back. After a brief hesitation, she followed him, muttering softly under her breath, “...Arrogant human. Once I recover my strength, I’ll definitely teach you a lesson before repaying you...”
The moment she stepped out of the room, Velyan smelled the aroma of food drifting through the air. Her stomach let out an unbidden growl. She peered up at Chen Mian, who was walking ahead of her, and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw he hadn’t turned around.
She had been unconscious for a very long time since her encounter with that bizarre creature, and she was indeed extremely hungry... And perhaps because she was starving, the scent wafting up from downstairs smelled incredibly delicious...
It was far more fragrant than any magical beast meat she had eaten in the wild.
Velyan unconsciously quickened her pace.
